Hi Trader131,

[font=Verdana][size=2][color=black]Requotes have been around ever since markets were allowed to float and are a natural consequence of that.

If you are trading with the momentum of the market, and therefore by definition in the direction of least liquidity, then requotes are an inescapable fact of life that everyone has to deal with, from the busiest InterBank desks to the smallest retail trader.

The only current alternatives are DMA Pro accounts in which...

I noticed also that marketdepth got deeper than previously, in eur/usd atleast. Total depth now between 15-20 million each side. I assume they have brought in an additional liquidity provider.

Index CFDs are problematic tho. While spreads tighted to quite attrative levels, sometimes tighter than the underlying futures market, its seems like one or more LPs often stop quoting prices, or only make a one-sided market. Right now, there are no quotes on most indices at all. I wouldnt call that an orderly market. This needs to improve alot before i can...

is it a new version of mt4?

mt4-"polite"?

(meaning it can be used only by traders who mastered "politesse"?)

I agree with the other poster, this is complete horse doo doo.

Many Brokers guarantee NO requotes, gee I wonder how they do it? Liquidity maybe, LOTS of it. Liquidity is NOT a problem with Forex the biggest traded market in the World. Liquidity is a problem with some Brokers, of which you are obviously one.

I seen someone brushing this off as "it was only demo so what".

I am considering Armada and if this is true Demo or not, I find this discouraging.

you should not be listening to guys testing brokers demo acounts, that idea is redicilous, testing should be done on a real live acount with real money, even if a broker would be a scum bucket, he has all the reasons not to cheat on a demo acount, because he want you to deposit money first right? so why would he scare you away before? makes no sense at all, he would make everything he can to make it look as slick as possible, Im not saying that Armada is clean or not, I have no experience with them, but I would really questioning the Sentinel indi if it shows faul play on demos. there is no broker interested in stealing clients paper money

Well from the very little reading I have done, MT4 is a new thing for the Broker so they themselves could just be testing out the Virtual Dealer Plugin (otherwise I would agree it would only make sense to use the VDP on live accounts). If they have not used it before do you think they are going to run it on live accounts first, and risk BIG issues there? Or do you think they would use it on Demo, first, where results really don't matter.

The software that sniffs this thing out doesn't lie from the info I read about it.

So the point is the fact they are caught using it at all, is a big red flag (IF its true, of course)

Hi Jayjonbeach,

I'm happy to help, but there's no need for baseless accusations.

As stated earlier, the only current alternatives are DMA Pro accounts in which orders are sent on a Fill or Kill basis where although you can avoid requotes, the risk is not getting a trade in (or out) at your preferred price at all.

Indeed I was wrong. Referring to their api: 'the time in force policy for the market order. This can be "Fill or Kill" or "Immediate or Cancel".'
So, yes it may be fok or ioc Usually one would use ioc.
