I was using the rules on 5M and exiting at center line of the 5M TMA on that day. On several trades I pulled the trigger earlier if I saw price was stalling. I do not recommend using M5 charts unless you have years of experience with them. If you have little experience you should use H1 charts and exit at opposite band or before if you see price stalling at an S/R level or the Coral and 200 MA.

Hello Al, when you trade H4 do you use your last template with M15 H1 and H4 TMA and MTF analysis or only H4 TMA?

I use the template that I placed in the packet file. I like to see all three TMAs. That helps me with the H4 entry. I make sure the M15 and H1 are ready for entry also. You can get extra pips that way.

Hey Al,i was gonna attempt trading 5 mins. Correct me if im wrong but you dont attempt recovery if the Higher Tf such as the 15 mins is moving in opposite direction? Do you attempt recovery when general trend is in your favor? And thirdly when you do not attempt recovery what is your SL?

I like to wait for M15 to be ranging before entering recovery. I treat it like a new trade. My SL is for emergency only at -100 pips. I cancel it when price gets close to it and I enter recovery instead, then I place it another -100 from the second entry.

So, even for 5 min TF trades or scalps, you still attempt recovery?

Been using your tma system (somewhat modified for weeks now with good and also improving results. Only use 4 and 1 hr. 4hr is longer but much better at nailing end of move. I have had greater success also using divergence in MACD and CCI plus the TRIX for conformation. I am really please. Your TMA high frame slope gives me a great visual map of where the price is though. Thanks! Do you usually wait for at least trix to turn colors before placing your swing trade? seems logical

Having tried H4 trades all week, I donīt recommend you use it. You should only Use H4 or D1 if you cannot monitor your computer. The returns are so much smaller with these time frames that I donīt think it is worth it. There is also a high probability of price reversing before reaching the opposite band and thus making you lose the pips you had and leaving you feeling like a fool. This has happened to me 5 times this week. I could have made 500 pips and they all virtually disappeared due to price reversing. I committed to trading H4 the full week so I canīt wait for Monday where I go back to M15.

I like H1. You can get 2 or 3 trades a day with H1 and price gets to the other H1 band much more often than with H4 and the pip size is around 100 between the bands, which can allow you to average 100 to 150 pips a day normally. My favorite is still M15 to the opposite band. You get a lot more trades a day. Maybe 10 to 15 or so and with a TMA size of 40 to 50 pips, there are a lot of pips to be made and it is much more relaxed than M5.

Also, I am stalking gbp/usd for a sell entry. Waiting for trix to turn red on 4hr and hopefully a break of that stubborn 1.5975 area that has rejected down move all day. Thoughts?

Yes. Fast Trix color change (Not Slow Trix) but not necessary to wait for close. Even if itīs a fraction of a second, thatīs good enough for me to pull the trigger.

For successful trade, the cold head is necessary, having closed the successful transaction, do not hasten, do not trade, calm down, differently you are waited by failure!!!I do not recommend studies in trade as a demo, open cent of an abacus is better!!!
