Yay i found a Bug ..

basically the Trendlines had an Offset of approx 20 pips on both from the hours i specified which was 0h to 3h

now with your Fix, the BUY trigger Line is FIXED 3 to 5 pips offset is good, but the SELL trigger line still has the Offset of approx 20 pips.

see PICS below for more details (please note the indi im using has a 1 pip offset)

OK, What am I missing here.

The two lines are just lines that extend forever to the right and just start at a random left point, the time setting does not affect there placement, only you do. The 20 pips above and below the Bid where these lines are placed is just a starting point. If you double click these lines you get the 3 little boxes to grab them by and move them around where ever you want to place them. So now if the price breaks above the green line or breaks below the red line you get an alert. Now when you select a time period for these lines to be active the alert will only happen durring that time period, even though the lines extend past that time period on the chart, and if the price breaks one of these lines durring that time period. The time setting does not affect these lines in any way, the time only determines when a break will give an alert, "Alert Window". So even if the price breaks through one of these lines after this time window you have set, you will not get an alert. You can have the line stretch all the way across the chart and it will only give a break alert durring the times you have selected.

The fix I did had nothing to do with the placement of these lines, I just had a boolean misnamed so the time window was not working at all.

What am I missing here? You have to put these lines where you want them and time has no affect on this placement.

Problem partially solved,

It must be a matter of broker, on the second demo at different broker this issue did not come out.

Here is the other one, in the red vertical lines you can enter and look for 25-30 in each one, since yesterday you can make more than 150 pips.

* The way i was thinking it would work best is that the time is to set the Highs/Lows of the HOURS we specify so the LINEs can automatically place itself and if a BREAKOUT occurs afterwards that would be the BUY or SELL trigger signal

so basically it would need

-1 a Start / End time period to specify the High/Lows and desired hours of the day to create the Breakout Lines that it would be based on . Ex: 0h-2h

-2 For the ALERTS SIGNALS to be ACTIVE just having the END Time period of the day that the TrendLines are shown is enough or both start/end or just let the Trendlines show the full day.

Seller9 i only look at the cross of TDI, the 200 EMA and the TMS-Osc Histo 3TF v1.02.ex4, in the chart i have also the supertrend line that shows green if the trend is up and red for down. If you see the cross of TDI above 200EMA and TMS is all green you can take the long trade and visceversa for short.

Sachigi, you are also only entering on the green line crossing the yellow line on the TDI indicator too? What do you use the round number indicator for? Also on your previous chart you have what appears a Gann indicator and 2 moving averages.

Green line = RSI Price line
Red line = Trade Signal line
Blue lines = Volatility Bands

I see what your trying to do, but that was not the scope of these lines as they were just suppose to be support and resistance lines that alerted when broken through.

Yes mate, only enter at the cross on TDI, green line on the yellow.
I have other indicators in that chart but i only look that i said before.

i realised what you said above in bold, the Time is already set with the EA ?

if theres another Time Period setting for the Trendlines which your stating it makes these active it could cause some errors

thats one of the reasons why i was confused at first about the time periods because i was sure it was how i explained it to be.

Maybe it would be easier to keep the way your Lines are but just change the TIMES so it would not add to much extra coding, i'll put it in your own words

"the time period would determine the High/Low of the hours we specify (ex: 1h-3h box) So if the price breaks through one of these lines AFTER this time window you have set, you will get an ALERT" and simply leaving the ACTIVE time of the Breakout LINES based on the settings of the *Trading hours* we have already set within the EA"

sorry for the confusion, just trying to make it a Better usefull Tool without changing to much on how you have coded the LINES to be moved, which in fact i really like that option that they can be moved to be a channel or S/R Lines
