LOL,

there are a few reasons:

1 - went north country with the wife and kids for some time with the family (parents) (i wasn't with them for almost a year)
2 - i suck at trading
3 - i really suck at trading
4 - i really really suck at trading
5 - reasons 2,3 and 4 aren't exactly right. i just overleverage too much. and then it goes wrong a couple of trades and more than half the account goes to u guys, that manage your dough properly.
6 - rethinking my life. trading won't be a means of income till i solve this prob and i really don't know what i can do to solve it...

2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 = yes reason 5 this has also f***ed me a few times bro , so you're not alone

the way i see it ,holding trades for more than a few hours , the best way is set it and forget it - put the trade on and switch your pc off / walk away with alarms set at tp and sl ( what i should have done yesterday ) - in other words , don't let yourself touch it after you put it on. I'm sure your initial entry isn't over levved , it's probably messing with the trade after?

I'm sure not everyone has to put the trade on and walk away , but to me it seems very difficult to leave it alone and stick to the plan if i don't. My answer to myself is a compromise -- scalping -- I have to spend the hours in front of the screen to make money but i don't have to deal with the headf****

... anyway , just to let you know there's others in the same boat

Fucking with the trade after got me so many times. Chasing is another one. 5 out of 4 times the initial decision is good. He needs to decide how he trades. It's either set a TP and forget about it, or sit and watch it and exit based on PA. There are so many ways to do this...
