Some good trades today, some bad trades today. Currently a bit negative pips today with a GBPUSD trade holding a little in the money. ......but please...let's not use vulgarity to express dismay.

does anyone else following the system avoid trading high impact news, unless they're already deep into a winning position? I find that by not getting involved in such things, it keeps me out of a lot of bad trades. You miss the odd winner as well, but better to miss a winner than jump on a loser! I'm more into the scalping side of things, so maybe it's just me...

That is a personal decision. So far the channel wall is still holding, so you have time to think about it. I´m still .50 away so I can think about it also. For my account, I will do recovery because my position is small.
Observation is the path to discovery.

Hey,

Hopefully it can be of some use to you. Like I said, I am new to this particular method of trading, so I don't want to speak out of turn. My approach of not trading the news is simply a personal preference that happens to have served me well. If it can also help you, then that would be a great thing. By all means, experiment both ways
