The trendline (Top channel wall) is holding. I am actually a bit surprised that BernankeŽs "give away the store speech", did not cause the USD to collapse. The up move for Eur and GBP was kind of tepid. Reversal coming? WeŽll see...

Hi Al,

I see the trend line is holding on eurusd. If the trend line is broken, is it still appropriate to do recovery? i got in eurusd at 1.3200....though was hesitant to do recovery trade, because in case trend line broke, thought recovery trade would also fail?

This is why I don't trade the major news releases. No system can withstand a major news release, as you simply don't know what the big players will decide to make of it. For my personal sanity, I find it better to just not be in trades when they make these announcements.

Aside from my rather stupid move on the GBP/JPY (My sanity cannot deal with the volatility of this thing!), today has been a decent day.

Could be a good move. The G/U seems to be stalling. It doesn't look like the buyers are taking the bait. If it can make a move down, surely the E/U will go with it.

I don't think so -- I only trade 1 pair (EU), so I'm not sure.

The entry price is really 1.3314. Waiting to short GbpUsd but I need the PA to break down a little bit more.
