Venice.. OVI? thats like DUI ? 0.11 and legal limit in the US is 0.08 ?

here in some european countries, I can just tell them their shit is wrong and they will take me to take my blood. Its a messed up situation really, but I guess US is really strict on alcohol laws.. however it does have the highest limit that I know of in the world (Apart from UK which is the same).
