Taken two trades on demo on the A/U (Long) and the USD/CAD (Short). In the attached images, I can see that the A/U trade is a bit questionable, as it was coming back into the bands as the new blue HA candle closed, but the USD/CAD trade looks like it could be a decent scalp. I know the bands aren't very wide on these trades, hence the scalp idea!

Any comments, people?

P.S My entries were on the vertical red lines.

Think I just answered my own question... Closed both positions for a quick 10 pips each. Only demo, but it' nice for the confidence!

Since trading against the usd its risky so quick scalps only with a stop loss would be wise. However, the USD index has been dropping so more USD weakness today is possible.

Just my opinon...free advice is worth every penny of it.

Quick scalping was indeed the way. Looking at the bands, I think was only about a 20 pip range from entry to the other side. I figured it would be short and sweet!

As always, the input is greatly appreciated. I hope I can achieve a good enough ability with this method to be of help to others!

In hindsight, the slope on the A/U was actually pretty lousy and I was trading against the H1 slop of +61 on the USD/CAD. Risks I simply wouldn't take with real money, but a good lesson to have learnt now!

Whats the point of trading this system which uses indicators that repaint for more then 40 bars???

Because when the signal is given, it is given. What the past history tells you is irrelevant. Since the market ranges over 70% of the time your win rate will be high. You dont care what the indicators are saying 40 bars ago, it only matters what they say now. If they say trade now they will be more right than wrong as 400+ pages attest. That is why.

I'll short if it gets to 1.3290 and there's divergence. I still believe 1.3300 is a strong level that wont be broken with force if at all. 61.8 retracement of broader swing, BRN, 161.8 extension and the parameters of the TMA system firmly in place for a short.

Well the number of pages in the topic doesnt mean much

I would much rather see a consistent 400+ pip profit on live account each month

Has anyone credible posted any proof of this method working?

Eternal?
Why?
If it is a scalp with some leverage, then yes a tight stop
If it is a 1:1 medium term trade then no, but it has to be technically a valid trade, otherwise you will loose. But not big
It's always a matter of risk and of knowing how much you are putting on the plate.
If you don't know this parameters then you will fail because you don't know how much you will loose and what kind of trade you are in.

That would be fully correct if the system would be just based on the current signals. For the formal rules that is also correct.
But there is still a lot of additional advice to use (or filter) trade opportunities based on analysis of the past like looking for divergence on the slope, how the channels have moved etc.

But let's assume, the system just works on the formal (documented) rules, i.e. using just the signals as given, the question is: why is it needed that the TMA is repainting at all? Why not leave the current values as-is? At least I found it looks more beautiful when looking in the past. If this is good or bad or of any use, I don't know. I'm a noob.

Popular indicators like MACD, Stochastics, Moving Averages, are based on past data. Therefore they are lagging indicators, They are telling you history. Repainting indicators use up to date data, they are not lagging. Learning to use them can be more valuable than reading the lagging ones.
Lagging indicator = Looking in the past to predict where price will go.
Repainting indicator = Looking in the present to predict where price will go.
