DislikedSee my style is so weird. I trade the movement of ranges. So, say a breakout happens, a new range establishes it self, and my r/r for entry is somewhere between 50% and the bottom of the range (if were long).
But, because this is really trend trading, I expect the range to continually move up. When it is stuck in place, I have no trade on this style. I need a way to identify it being stuck in place... which would be something as simple as the rejection of price to the top/bottom of the new range. That makes me end up feeling like I am standing...Ignored
DislikedHere's a hint... When looking at a range, the PA has nothing to do with anything.. This is not for direct trading, but more of a road map as to where are we in the bigger picture. The only thing having anything to do with the price is the middle. If it wants to continue staying within the range, it will go back to the middle of it. When looking at a range you don't care about the direction of the price at this very moment (not even during the session) and you don't care about the spikes outside that session boundaries.
