Don't want to spread conspiracy theories, but they may have been proping up GBP before FOMC announcement. Now it's falling like a rock.

Got my +30 at at BE so no stress, but this time it was a news trade after the great GBPUSD setup.

Does anyone know where the sudden outburst of gbp came from?

Was it an extreme move to get out of the oversold area on the higher timeframe or was there news regarding gbp?

Eurusd and audusd also went up, but not as much as gbpusd. Other gbp paires also went up pretty fast.

Only thing I see was a bounce from the 50.0 fibo, drawn from low 13 January to spike high 29 February.

Hi,

Just to followup to my post#6486, the move to the upside within the falling channel provided some good profits yesterday.
Price is in consolidation after that surprise 130pips H4 candle.
With a DIB pattern, a likely breakout is imminent. Question is to which direction.
My take is it will continue downwards in the falling channel, but I would be wary of an early break upwards to test the resistance above.

Market is random and it is never possible to predict any move using technical analysis. We can only look for higher probability trade setups and trade them. But I am always prepared with a turnaround trade in my trade plan for such breakout situations.

Be free to discuss any trade setups that you have in mind.

Have good trading day everyone.

Hi,
Here is an update of my trade post#6496.
EURJPY - only managed partial exit +30pips and rest stopped out at BE.
AUDJPY - still running, and added position with profit after first partial exit. This is now a 'free trade' and need careful management to reach final TP eyeing 90.00 which near the high of March 2011.

Regards,

Hi izisale,

well, I do mostly trade H4 so I wont be posting many intraday H1 trades these days. But I stuill look for good setups and post them and I can aslo use them for my H4 entry too.

S3 H1 EU is good for LO and NYO, but I don's see many members posting their questions therefore my assumption is that they are okay with this H1 method when they read and study all the posts starting from post#1.

I prefer to trade H4, to stay away from all the market noise in lower TF.

Hope you are trading well these days.

regards,

but on H1 TDI RSI PL bounce off TSL, and cross MBL, ...right?

wait for price to pullback for a better price entry on H1.

More importantly for me will be the close today. We had a decent bounce from 3100 on 8/3/12 so a neg close day again after yesterday would suggest 3100 will fail.

That would give a clear D lower high with a target around 2970.

Despite the view/target from yesterday Mrs V took 30 pips (but 5 full lots) in 25 mins from eur sell at 3065 and is prob done for the day (back problems playing up big time).

Yesterday we closed below the range of previous 6 days, had nice 1hr lower high in trend close. Yes it was early for system but when everything is playing along its an obvious trade to take.

Hi gary

I like that gu buy after yesterdays positive close, it gives the entry a good chance with the 1hr higher low.

The eur buy not so much but hey well done. Personally expecting eur to go down again today, time will tell.

Theres an upper trend line around Y's high on GU which may come into play.
