Over the years I opened live accounts with 12 brokers. In the past GO was among the best of them. Right now I don't trade with them, but still watch their performance closely, means running software on live acc. to check the order execution speed. Since they announced a server upgrade I expected at least some improvement regards the execution speed. So far it didnt happen. It got worse... Furthermore today I checked the ping time from my vps in Sydney to their new server IP. It also dropped from 1-2ms to around 18ms. Customer support couldn't tell me why. All strange..but in the end it doesnt matter, there are other brokers which fulfill my trading requirements.

I believe that OF can be read from charts. I'm using Forex Tester it's OK.

Any news on the MyFXBook demo accounts?

I have a number of demo accounts running and all have stopped updating on myfxbook since the upgrade.

I could not log into Go either, but in the LH corner is said "old version". Downloaded updated MT4 version and all good now.

I used them before the US government threatened them to close my account. They were awsome, withdrawals were no problem, deposits were no problem, customer service was good. I did not scalp too much with them but think I could have. I have cable internet with no netflix or such at that time. :nerd:

I live in Newcastle (around 1.5 hours North of Sydney), and trade execution has been extremely slow. I connect to DC1 - Sydney, however doubt this has any impact on how trades are routed.

Still, 8-10 seconds sometimes to make/modify orders with occasional timeouts over the last couple of weeks. Have confirmed beyond reasonable doubt it's not my connection (have tried from other connections, confirmed ping and bandwidth tests to other Sydney and remote servers are fine)..

I've experienced these issues during both London and Asian sessions.

I don't scalp, and I'll admit I'm a crappy trader (so I'm NOT blaming GoMarkets for my losses). However it would be extremely helpful to have a responsive trading platform so that I'm not at any more of a disadvantage.

Pepperstone are quite similar in many respects, just faster execution and lower spreads, check out my broker comparisons spreadsheet here

I can only second the suggestion already made by rooicol
I've made a switch to Pepperstone a few months ago, but still having a very small account with GoMarkets ... mainly for testing a live feed
(hoping for some miracle perhaps, that this once upon a time best aussie broker will be at least good enough to make a trading possible with)

All day, 4h candle AUDCAD closes 1 hour later than the other 4 hours candles.

Gomarkets just changed your deposit fees through credit card to 3%
And more sadly , I haven't been informed anything about that , I just known it because I just made a new deposit yesterday .
I have been used Gomarkets and love this broker , but the way they didn't announce about fees and bonus tos make me confused much
I will keep my eye to gomarket to see if I can continue with them or not
Well f me you guys seem to be getting worse by the day drop outs and slow executions even with a EA that pings every 25 odd seconds its still crap, I have only been really using the platform for charting coz it was all set up but frig me never know if its live or dropped out so not only I cant trade with conf I cant even chart with conf rofl f me.
I will be pulling all my funds out im actually fearful for my cash now.
Let us know if you want to get serious guys coz this is a joke your scaring traders away isnt that your business I just dont get it.
Please explain Joel.
