You should place this concept on page one with 100 size fonts!!

I have no idea what was in the mind of the guy who created that thread. It is probable he used this thread as a "blueprint" for some of the steps. But it is still very accurate of the lifetime of many threads. And it is funny. All I can say is lighten up a little bit...get over it...and show the world this is the greatest strategy ever.

Don't worry, I won't post on this thread again. This is clearly not my thread and the OP can run it any way he wants. But I will part with these words:

You guys need to get your head in the game here, especially you new traders. You spend so much time on the indicators and how to set your pivots to the correct timezone offset. Those aren't even the most important parts of the system. All you are doing here is trying to pick reversal points - scalping a few pips when the reversals are small, but trying to capture big pips when the reversals are stronger. You could use an MA or stoch or bbands or any number of other indicators to do the same thing as the TMA and TMA Slope. The TMA is not a magic indicator. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you will get to what really "brings home the bacon" with this strategy.

You should be working on understanding the intangibles of the system - the rules outside of the rules if you will:

Do you take every signal?
What reasons would keep you out of by-the-rules entries?
Where is the best place to exit?
How can you identify when price has stalled?
How can you identify when price has reversed?
How are going to handle recovery when your trade goes immediately against you?
How are we going to handle your stop loss?

How do you get that done? Well it's easy:

During the trading week, you post (live) screenshots of your entries with explanations why the trades were taken. You discuss exit strategies. You get rid of the "Thank you" posts, and the "You are the greatest" posts, and the "Try this indicator" posts, and the "What timezone" posts, and the "Guess what they said about us" posts, and actually discuss the trading. Forex trading is not for the timid and the naive. It will destroy your account quicker than you can say "What just happened?".

The weekends are a great time to review the past - look at the trades of the past week, look at times in history when the strategy might have suffered some losses. Your recovery process is going to be very, very important. Weekends are a great time to discuss this with other traders. Pick the brains of the experienced traders. Get a simulator and enter some trades that you know will go against you. Practice your recovery routine until it is second nature. Post screenshots of the past problem areas and discuss with each other the best way to get out of it in one piece.

Yes, I know this thread/strategy is still in its infancy. But, as that other thread has alluded to, it is starting out just like so many of the others. I'm sure everyone here does not want it to end like the others, right?

And stop being so damn sensitive. It's the World Wide Web for crying-out-loud...there's always going to be someone who says something you don't agree with or don't like.

I have tried Renko extensively and I do not see that it gives you any advantage. I feel time is an essential component of the cyclical aspect of how markets move. If you remove time, you are removing cycles from your analysis.

Yes. I added a grid builder in the packet.zip file. Change the input to 1000 and it will draw lines at round numbers. You can view those lines as s/r lines.

It is important to me psychologically to start the day off with a win. To me a win implies a closed trade. With this system you are guaranteed to begin with a win in your pocket. It is true that your other position will have accumulated a drawdown, but it is not closed yet and you can recover pretty easily by getting price to center line once again.

Ignore Fibonacci retracement levels at your own risk...Unless you want to give the big boys a huge advantage. They follow Fib numbers religiously.

The TMA is on the charts. It now has two white outer bands and a Green/Red/White center line.

Hi William, From my conversation with Forex pros and articles regarding the matter I am convinced that London dominates Forex. Most big players use GMT for their time frame. You can see how accurate those lines are in the daily trading when set to GMT. If it ainīt broke, donīt fix it.
