I was wrong with the timing issue, the tab switching works very well with standard MT4 chart windows! it won't work with my chart windows without captions and thick borders.. it can't. i use a fixed 4-split layout with thin borders only - unmovable, unresizable (can maximize), changing background of the active chart, even MT4's Tile or Cascade don't do anything with my funny charts ..doesn't mind!

Hi guys. Can someone possibly extract the file and post it on here. I have had a nightmare trying to download subsequent versions from 1.3. 1.3 zip downloaded in Internet Explorer after failing in Firefox but the subsequent versions have all failed to extract despite me trying all my browsers and computers. I tried zip repair without success, losing my working copy of 1.3 in the process, drat.

I am on dial up (I live out in a remote area in New Zealand) which I can only think must the problem. I don't usually have problems downloading stuff but perhap zip files and downloading via dial ups can be a bit more tricky. Any help would be appreciated. Ta

I just uploaded a new version. MetaTrader Hotkey Extender now has a new option in settings.ini.

Don't you hate having to click multiple icons to get your work environment setup with all your apps? I do.

Now you can put all your favorite tools into the settings.ini RunOnStartup field and only have to click on one icon to launch all your money making stuff.

Thanks for the app. Unfortunately, after installing the program the icon sits in my toolbar, but when I click in it nothing happens.

I would try to install program and try again, but the program does not appear in the list of installed programs from where I can uninstall it.

I'm using Win7. Any ideas?

By the way, how does it work in technical terms? Do you use a low-level operating system API (e.g. Windows MFC)?

That is what it is supposed to do.

Left clicking on it will not do anything. Right clicking will display a menu.

The program does not install. It is just a stand-alone executable.

Run MetaTrader and try hitting some hot keys from the list in the first post.

Just note to make it better. I get key M & N can't work in MT4 Trading Point 402 and MT4 Alpari UK 225,

also key H & J, do they automatically change window pairs from left to right or right to left? Because on my both MT4 they do it.

Could u make it more configurable (time setting for movement between one window to other window, and can turn on / off this feature)

Hi Belajarfx,

I don't think I can guarantee that this will work with all broker's version of MetaTrader. They can do customization that will make things too different.

As for making it more configurable please see the first post the section titled "Changing Settings."

The software I use to compress and encrypt the software sometimes gives false positives. You can read about it on some sites. For example:

Hi VBMark. Most excellent tool to have. Making it easier for all MT4 traders. I use other platform as well, and I find it easier if there are keyboard shortcuts.

I tried to edit system.ini. I tried adding other keys. It didn't seem to work, or at least I'm not sure if i'm putting the right command.

I encoded the ff:
Triangle=t
Trendline=l

Not sure how to put fibo retracement and fibo expansion. Thanks in advance for the help.
