Normalized slope is not being utilized in version 16 of this indy.

The pivot time offset will be fixed in the next revision.

Hi Guys, great thread going here, I just have a quick question, how is this different from Kevinator system here :

In his system, instead of TMA slope, he looked at Stochastics, plus there was a retracement finder, that would give us exact candle to enter as well. & if first entry missed, one could always renter later.

Seems this thread is an extension of his system of using TMA & then trying to trade using slope of TMA. In first few days of this thread it was using some repainting MA & sentiment indicators with disappearing entries, which are now not in use in this system.

Anyways, just wanted to share what I was noticing. No disrespect to anyone, would love others to take the findings of Kevinator thread and improve upon it.

I am attaching a "supposedly" nrp version of TMA, as we all know TMA repaints horribly. See if this can be of any use.

That is not bad. I was trading on 15 min chart, no dash, 20 trades, no losses. Not bad either.

Been lurking, listening, quietly following along with extreme gratitude. As an east coaster with a full time job my only chance to play is now in the quieter Asian session. I'll tell you, stealing looks on this thread while at work is no easy feat. 30 pages, well, left me gasping.

My first opportunity with the new dashboard was an interesting one. A green buy signal on the 5 min AUDUSD revealed itself. Slope at -0.44 and candle closing blue around 8pm EST. I quickly entered. For the next hour the trend continued down yet the buy signal remained. In fact, the 1 min and 15 min would also flash a green buy, reinforcing the action in spite of an ever increasing drawdown. I stayed in, relying on the dashboard, slope and PA. Well, what do you know, an hour ago the worm turned, blasted through the lower band and assumed a deliberate upward march. As of this writing the 5 min AUDUSD has exceeded the upper band with 11 straight blue candles. Amazing! I exited at the midline per Al's cautious approach. All told I had an 18 pip drawdown while the signal remained but hung in as the dashboard encouraged me stay awhile and wound up with a 6 pip gain.

With experience I'll lessen the initial drawdown as I understand more about the nuances of entry with this system.

PS-USDCAD has 5 green buys so I took it. Again, drawdown as the turn has not initiated. Let's see if S2 holds.

To prepare for testing the m5 method tonight I have written a script to open trades with a fix ratio of lot vs account balance, for every 1k it will trade 0.05 lot. Once you run the script it will place trade with the lot size and emergency stop loss of 100pip which is only there so the script can calculate lot size easier. Take profit will be automatically set to current tam middle band, with a fixed pip setting for TP buffer to be further pass center line or closer to entry point incase you want to aim for just beforee middle band or after. I also have mptm set to BE+ 1 at 5pip profit as capital protection.

All this are to help manage my trades in a conservative way so I can focus on filtering out bad trades. I know it will mean cutting out on some profitable trades or not getting the full opposite band but its a bit safer in my mind. The values will be tweaked to taste as I test over a longer period.

I will look at all signals triggered with !TMA extreme v16 and wait for HA color change before entering, I will also monitor the price and not rely on TP, if price starts to stall I might close manually on my own judgement. I am not looking for big pips profit but consistency in extended period of time. This will probably not be as profitable as trading full manually, but in the future I might set the TP to be opposite band minus 3pips but shall start with middle band.

I will upload a statement at the end of my session and hopefully iy will be something interesting.

If I have multiple trades to close simultaneously, I use MPTM set to basket trade management with a TP of 1 pip and a SL of 1 pip. I save the template as "close all". Then, all you have to do is apply the template to any open chart and everything gets closed immediately.

I notice that the dashboard will give a "SELL" signals, when a slope is more than 0.50, and should be "BUYS" only. Simple enough to see when I go to a chart after a dashboard signal, but figured I would point it out.

Nice to see more successful scalping trade reports popping up after the latest mods on the TMA.
I would love to hear from the traders on the higher TF's, the 'working class', like me, who might not have the time every day to watch the 5/15M charts for scalping opportunities.
Surely this TMA should be successful on the 1H, 4H or DAY......I did not read any feedback on that (or did I miss it somewhere on this thread?).

During my off time today I'll do the latest installations of the PACKET on page 1, and will try my best on some higher TF's.....

I am not sure if this is a problem with the dashboard....

for AUDUSD m5, the dashboard says sell. but the chart/slope says Buy Only.

I would think that the two would agree with each other?

Any chance that you guys can allow the timeframes to be edited in the dashboard?

Basically I would like to stick to just the m5 timeframe on the dashboard without getting confused by the other timeframes.

So maybe a true/false value for each timeframe in the indicator settings would be great!

I believe the slope indicator hasn't been corrected yet. That should say "sell" at this moment since it's above .5 with dropping slope and PA is above the upper band.

My problem is with the BUY/SELL timing. I've entered at what I feel are appropriate to the rules but I've only experienced drawdowns at the initials. For instance USDCAD has been saying BUY on several time frames for over an hour but if you entered at any time in that hour you'd be a loser right now. Same situation with AUDUSD. Right now all the rules appear in compliance for a sell but she continues to gain unabated. The one red candle that seals the deal and gets you in is quickly followed by a return of the trend that opposes the dashboard instruction. One wonders if this is typical Asian session shenanigans.
