Would the application of the boost consolidate boost technique be legit in here? A simple breakout of a small box? Rather than solely waiting for a retrace that might never happen.

Speculations galore. Wait for PA to act according to one or the other scenario and then pull the trigger.

Just my thoughts.

I do not know your experience level, so I do want to assume anthing, so if you know this, please accept my apologies for pointing out what you already know. But just in case you do not...this might help.

If you are going to take your trading to the next level, you are going to need to step back and look at the big picture and look at the obvious and then trade in line with that.

Will has given everyone a priceless peice of information. He even made it funny enough to stick out, so there is a chance of sinking into our brains. Something so simple, so plain, so ordinary, so elementry we all see it, its on every chart, yet many still fail to apply it.

Look again at Will's Post....

Look at your GBPJPY chart. Any short trade at the moment is counter trend. We have been in an uptrend. As long as you know this, that is OK.

Price is at a flip zone where the trend can change direction. You can trade however you like, but it is vital you see this structure and then trade in consideration of it.

The second chart is not showing what price will do, but showing an example of seeing the big picture of price structure. This is how price moves.

No probs. Also, remember to see the BIG picture. Always consult your daily charts. This is what I see and something which is possible, or least to be mindful of. If price breakd down, you could consider that to be an overthrow, which is a very tradable, high probability pattern in itself.

I wish I had that much historical data. I have downloaded some pairs from various sites but somehow they all messed up my trading platform. so I gave up on it. I'll try it again at the weekend.

Fast and furious price action. Now stall at lower channel. Possible action is reversal to upper channel or continue to down.

umm, I am not really sure what to say tuman...

What I have "noticed" is that when I try and take an entry against the structure/bias, then I usually 'blow my dow'.

I do have an advantage. Each day Will goes over the pairs he is watching. For each pair on our Watch List, he explains the market structure, his bias (long/short), why, possible places to take an entry, possible targets, etc.

Though, after a while it does start to stand out and you start seeing the structures/bias yourself, but even so, its nice to know if your own analysis is correct.

For example, you will see where I called a 'possible' double top in Aud forming in post. That was my own analysis. Will then shared the same analysis (after, coincidently!) and it was nice to know I am getting the hang of it!

I will show a chart where we sold.... (Will is still holding some shorts, he has much greater patience than me!)

(Note: Everything I post in this thread is 100% my own analysis. Putting your "chart on the line" is a good learning teqnique. Sometimes it turns out it's the same as Wills, sometimes it turns out it's not and I got it wrong, but I am still learning too.)

Whether this will form the hook?
Sometimes I'm still confused set TP.
It seemed difficult to keep it simple.
But I still rational use of RR 1:3 or 1:4 when looking set up.
How do you think?

sure, though the size of the upmoves are shrinking, so it could equally reverse (or pullback deeper) so be aware of your options. Be mindful of the short play as well.
