FTA is real close though, for a conservative entry short below them. but from my experience, given that way dow is acting now, the trend will continue downwards.

Welcome John,

I would say Jeremy (MtDarkness) is right. I had subscribed to a lot of threads before and realized this is the best place to learn to become a profitable trader. Well, i learned little things in a way but i could have learned a lot more things faster if i just stayed and focused on the lessons here.

In short, TRY not to change the channel until you had mastered the J16 way.

The day is not over yet but there are def a few things against it. Right off the bat I can see the EMA and the recent strong uptrend.

For - good location and if it closes right below the 1.3 it will make it even better.

Assuming bar closes as pin....

Those EMAs are a pain, i didn't spot those before.... Lets not forget though, they were blasted through on the way up without a problem. They are FTA's and things to be aware of.

There are reasons to take this trade and reasons to stay out - up to you.

We dont see many pinbars formed off BRN's so whatever people do it'll be a VERY good bar to learn from. Check weekly and monthly too so we can see what is happening there. Learn from it. I will

Thanks, John. And yes, Allan is dead on. There are many ways to incorporate the J16 method into your trading style or you could try using someone else's variations. But before you do that, get familiar with the base ideas presented here before you add anything else. It is the base for everyone else's style anyways, so it will make learning (or building, in my case) another variation much easier. Not that it's hard to do.

If you haven't already, go to the James16 PF site and get the free videos. Watch them all. These are very helpful in understanding many of the aspects of how to trade PA with J16. They were for me anyhow, and I bet they will help you as well.

Thanks Jeremy and Allan for your guides. I really need those.

Over the last couple of days I start spotting price actions on the charts. It's really changing the way I look at the market. It's like getting closer into the market psychology (and definitely that's what I am looking for). I will follow your advice to be committed to this channel before anything else.

Anyway, I need some indicators such as weekly pivot and monthly pivot (since the one I downloaded from internet shows different values) , and the one that beebolbod have on his chart that shows time of trading sessions. Please help me if you can.
