Yes. I would use the 1,1,2,4 method and beyond that repeat the series and close out the oldest trade so you only have maximum 4 open at any time. In reality, I´ve never had to go beyond the 1,1.

Have you ever had to do more than one recovery trade at a time? It seems with the correlation between the pairs that would be a good possibility.

I think you said you've only had to do 10 recovery trades since you started trading this system, so that's good.

No. I´ve never had two Recovery Trades at the same time. Up to now, I´ve been able to close all 10 I´ve had at BE.

Thanks for posting the pdf, the explanation of the difference between a trade setup and a trade trigger and the relative chart is very interesting and useful for me.

Well I don't want to get too much on an off topic tangent but maybe my instructions are no good has anyone had them work? That would be good to know

There is a tab at the bottom of Strategy tester called journal. You can check in there if you got an error. You are also welcome to PM me a screenshot and I will try to help you further.

Just to clarify this is the simplest way to look at old data like it's realtime. It does no let you simulate trades since there is no code at all in BlankSim. If you want to do that it is not much harder. Just search for vHands on this site.

Here is a screenshot. You can see the same info as the slope indicator can be put on the chart. The problem is I used up the buffers and broke the alert system so it is not a seamless replacement for your TMA. It is easy to fix that though so I will do that and send it to you.

I love the way you have the center line of the TMA reflect the value ranges of the TMASlope. Very intuitive and clear. It makes me see much more clearly that the -.50 to .50 range zone is pretty accurate as to when the TMA is moving pretty much sideways. I don´t like the arrows on the TMA, but I want that TMA with the colored center line if you can get it to me.

I remember last year when the "Trading Made Simple" thread started, it got 110 pages and 220,000 views in 11 days. I think it was some kind of the ForexFactory's record until now, until Alorente's thread! You broke their record, Al!

This is a contre-trend system.
So how come we are still shorting after EU double top 250 pips away?
Just a joke.
I'm not sure if anyone will like it, but I like to use this indie, it is like zigzag, but not, and has a very interesting logic. It helped me to stay all the way down with EU all Friday, you just have to play with the settings a bit. I use 5pip range bars but maybe someone will find a way to use it on a regular chart.
Oh it's Monday... gotta trade again...

Unfortunately, the file is 1,575 KB and Forex Factory is not allowing me to post it, even though it says that the maximum pdf size allowed is over 6 MB. If anyone has a workaround this, please let me know. If not, PM me your email and I will be happy to email it to you.

Al, you can go to one of the file-sharing sites and upload your file there and give us the link to the uploaded file, and also show this link in your first post.

Unfortunately, I never used any file-sharing sites, so I can't recommend any.
