I review those post yesterday, about TMA True....


TMA repaints is better than TMA true, but everyday, I see TMA Bar repaint,

I confuse it is trend happen , or ranging, always look for a better entry point at this trade ....

it is not easy to make a decision, to place a position, BUY, SELL ...

Previous Spike Signal, it give me a reference, it say may be something will

happen recently, but Spike is not Rule anymore at System TMA.

That is the biggest drawback of any TMA system. You really cannot backtest because of the repainting issue. My experience with the system is not highly indicative of actual results, because during the 10 months that I used it, some of the rules where different and I also used discretion by backing it up with my THV4 system and my own experience. Results will also depend a lot on where you choose to exit: Center line or opposite band. Since we changed to the new rules, I am 33 and 0 win/loss and have one trade open on S&P500 (-18 pips at this time). In the next week or two we will begin to get more reliable numbers as more of us use it.

I think you misunderstood me.I dont need proof.I have tried the system and i know it works.And i am grateful that Al introduced it to us.I would just like to see statistically how others are trading it compared to me.

Alpari setting is 0. They are in London which is GMT.

Also, Al, I still think the TMA Normalized is the way to go to determine trend on all timeframes. I was watching it most of last week and it's pretty good to let you know when it isn't ranging and the current TF goes into an uptrend/downtrend (+.5 or -.05). Anyway I'm glad you are checking it out and look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

Another thing that I'm finding very interesting is the renko/range bars and I'm glad you are checking that...
High Jeremy, Iīm glad you are now posting on the thread. So, have you had a chance to trade the system yet?

I am still not convinced that TMA Normalized is the way to go. I need to see the pairs trading in real time to be able to compare both of them in different situations. Letīs give it this week, before we decide to change if we do. I will also be looking at Renko in real time during the week. This one will take me longer before I can have a definite opinion. Since I will not be posting my results this week, I will have more time to evaluate all this. I am also studying how the CCI divergence indicator behaves within the context of our system to see if it could be a better filter than the Slope value as has been suggested. I have my plate full.

It is still being worked on so I would rather not post it until we have a finished and tested product in a couple of weeks. We posted early versions last week and it created many performance problems for traders with slower equipment.

I am only up to pg 194, whew, what a 2 days this has been, but your post & pic Shah is very important. I see 16 previous candles that never closed below R4 & to me that is a range. No one should discount PA & the FPV is a help in this instance. I look forward to trading 1 micro live this coming week but NFP weeks can be strange, sometimes very low liquidity.

FatherJack, I am the first one to say that trading is an extremely difficult profession that requires enormous self control and discipline. I explain to the members that I lost over $1 million in my first years of doing it. I mention the many pitfalls and obstacles that you will face. I posted today "The 25 Rules of Trading", where it clearly states that 95% of traders fail.

Just because something is very difficult, that doesnīt mean you cannot acquire, with time and effort, the skills to do it well. If I believed that I would have given up many years ago. Helping people to learn, giving them encouragement to improve and supplying them with tools that make that process a little easier is not Non Christian in my view...

Hello,after to have read hundreds and hundreds posts of this very interesting system I'm pretty confused : I really cannot read ALL them and I noticed that the rules and the indicators changed during the time.
At this point I would need a little help (but I think that can be very useful to many other persons) : is there somebody who can post again the files that must be used in MT4 and the rules to enter and exit in a position?
Thank you a lot to Lorente for the great work you shared and to everybody can help me about my request.
