I don't think so. unless you expect a terminal impulse, wave (2) must take more time than (1)

x-waves are pretty fast in running double threes in 2-waves

I see a major flaw in your count. wave B is about 2 times shorter in time than lower order b-wave in xA. It doesn't completely invalidate the count but looks very very suspicious. But, indeed, expanding triangle may be observed in D-wave of a contracting triangle with rev. alternation.

One final comment. Closed my longs from 1.317, as the scenario has changed a little. Now waiting for euro to bottom at 3145. Current estimate for the top is now 1.383, which is nicely in line with the estimate for the next downmove.

The advanced ratio analysis is a process, containing a lot more than the single fib I showed. Take a look at CMMI for instance, to get an idea what a process model looks like, I've been working with these things more than 30 yrs.

You ask why didn't I show the whole count. What for? Don't you already have a couple of possible counts? More options, more head scratching? That is the problem with ew: you have no means to quantify the alternatives.

What has Capability Maturity Model Integration to do with trading?

I have my counts, my strategy and my tactic. So I can trade it.

Painting a few ABC's or whatsoever on a chart does not make a sound EW analysis, doesn't it?

So far you have made pretty much bold statements without showing some convincing stuff for your case. It is like saying: I was yesterday on the surface of the moon. Believe it or not.......

EU move highly correlated with Gold. Gold currently (correction) retrace 50% from last DEC low... We haven't see gold at $2000.... Gold will move to $2000 in coming months..... furthermore, we haven't see EU in wave 5.. target for wave 5 is around 13730.....

The decoupling will occur if Greece fails to restructure its debt. Would you be so kind to post your counts for gold and eurusd? thank you!

This is EU zig zag elliot diagonal waves, 4H chart show strong support at 1.3105 as median pitchfork, it also 78.6% strong Fibonacci support from the high to waves 2.... if the price didn;t break waves 2, we still can form diagonal wave to wave 5,,,, targeting 1.3728 (1.618 extension from wave 4),,,
