I dont know what people are seeing correctly on their charts, but I am unable to see anything correctly and have gotten stopped out everyday this week.

No matter how much time and effort I spend. I am always getting into a loss. Those beginning weeks seemed to be pure luck that TDI cross over and the candle color change worked for me.

Back then in week 07, I did not think the wave B would have ended. So I let the market develop itself. This week looks better. More regular wave pattern ratios.
But this is not conclusive yet. Need to see how it continue next week.

Please wait till next week after I update my Big Picture. You may want to try analyse the wave patterns on d1 and H4 TFs and we can discuss this next week.

Right now, I am into my second litre of wiessen and start talking jibberish.

At current support level for EUR/USD at price 1.3210+, it make more sense to long then to short, reason below.
- quite close to the SHI channel.
- 200MA at H4 as support
- a number of candles consolidations during 20-22 Feb around the price

So I have started to long EUR/USD and GBP/USD.

I am having a difficult time figuring out how to read the chart. Nothing seems clearcut at all. Looking at the chart, I cant understand this momentum concept or how to look at the size of the candles, or figure out the trend change or when not to enter. I can draw the trendlines, S/R levels and look at the tdi, but in the end my analysis is completely wrong and when I try to correct it and pay attention to what is going on...completely wrong again. I cant figure out what I am doing wrong. I have read and reread the forex basics, but I cannot figure out why I keep getting it wrong.

even if I try to be simple about it...i am still wrong. After the fact I can see what happened, but its everytime. I would like to be able to use the clues on the chart to figure it out not after the fact.

Hi,

the day range for this pair is only 50pips.
Look at the day candle now, do you see a strong support base to turn this around and close a green candle looking at the number of hours before NY close?

You can say A started at the bottom of 16 January, B started around 10 February and C started on 16 February. C ended this week when the downtrend started.

Check your daily chart to see this pattern.

I hope this picture might help you.

It looks to me like were sitting on the 3 day support line
with the TDI bottoming out. We will probably just go
flat for awhile.

Use your pivot and s/r lines. They help me alot.
Try it you might like them...

I have the exact pivot indy on my chart....i find it difficult on how to interpret the pivot with the SR levels.

For example, the day bernanke spoke. We were bouncing on the pivot and everything looked clean for a buy...then SOUTH we went.
