Hey Al,

Since I am still new to this I am planning to master TMA system and show consistent profit on H1 first before going to lower timeframe.

With H1 would you still need to constantly watch the market? Since I am in Australia, NY open starts at 11:30pm and I can only watch the first two hours. Would it be ok to leave trades open till NY close which is when I wake up. I am able to trade London opening till NY+2, but guess I miss out action for NY where the most profitable trade would be.

The trigger is when you touch the resistance or the support line. If you want I can add a trigger in the opposite direction like the bottom of previous bar for a short, etc. but it will reduce your profit by a few pips. I enter the order as soon as price touches the S/R line. That way I maximize the profit of the trade. I was doing that all day today and had a very good day.

An H1 order will take from 15 hours to 30 hours to complete to the opposite band, so as long as you can look at it a couple of times a day and set stop losses in case the market gets crazy, you´ll be ok.

Also just to confirm I understand the system looking at USDJPY H1 and M15 I think there will be a possible short entrance soon, and here is reasoning.

rule 1) TMA slope on M15 is currently at 0.59 which indicate LONG only so for now I am waiting for it to drop below 0.5. Or do we use a different value for trading H1?

rule 2) The current price is already above the higher band.

rule 3) TMA slope is falling on both M15 and H1

rule 4) Price went above R3 but now hover on top of it, this part I am a little confuse, if price went above resistant and stays on it would it still count as "testing"?

And stop loss still remains the same as rule? Using S/R

Wasn't old method 80 - 90% profitable - so why change? are we expecting this to be that much better? confused....

I am not sure if I am right, but I think the improvement allows more pips and also simplify the chart and rules.

1- You determine trend on the M15 and then you can move to H1 and trade the M15 result. For example: If a pair is in the Range zone in M15, you can trade both ways in H4 without looking at Rule 1 again. As long as rule 1 is confirmed in M15, you can trade that condition in any TF.

2- Correct.

3- Correct.

4- No. This resistance was broken as is no longer valid. it is now support from the top.

I would not take this trade.

I've been watching USDJPY as well. In the "old" system, we would be just about ready to short this, as the MA cross is about to occur.....

well as I type this the PA has gone back up, but it is certainly looking to be losing steam and I suspect a pull back from the resistance level.

You are too kind. I am on the other side from Naples. I live in a small town called Indian Harbour Beach. It is between Daytona and Palm Beach on the East Coast, one hour due east from Orlando. It is a standing offer my friend.

Regarding your TMA system, I do have one question: In light of the recent rule changes, do you still use the EA's to optimize trade entry or is that done manually now?
