No. You want the slope indicator to reflect what the TMA is doing. Remember, we trade the TMA. The slope only gives us the TMA values. They have to be the same in both.

i understand Al.. but what i want is for the slope to hold its ground on a normal pullback and not lose it too quick at the overbought or oversold areas to miss represent a possible pullback entry on 1m tf.
do you get what i mean.. its a bit hard to explain.
if this could be done it will filter all bad trades and you will have yourself a prolific system in 1m tf.

I think the USD is going much higher. For now to 82 on the US Index, but I think it will break that and go to a new high. This is just the beginning in my opinion.

I know what you mean. I would have to try it to see if it´s better, because you are trading with false values at that point. But, it may work...

Hi shah and thanks for your great effort..

i asked easyryder and he said he don't have the time.. and i assume he does not have a non-repainting one.

I think in what i do it will help greatly the win rate will go to the roof.. i can do this with the same slope indi that we have already but when looking at 10-15 charts it consumes time and mis trade possibilities.
remember i am asking for the slope indi to be non-repainting not the tma, i already have non-repainting tma (true tma.. which I myself have presented in here too)

your system, if you look at US dollar against major currencies especially if overbought or oversold outside of bands has a great correlation with which way the market will move right now. Notice how equities dropped as the dollar went up and took money out of equity markets...

coincidence?

Al i think it will work greatly if it could be done.. it just need that firm confirmation at the entry point and not getting misslead by repaint..

The TMA SLOPE is repainting badly I saw. Here is my chart and why short it. The Tma slope is well above close to 1.00 !!! So just longs !!! Please help.

I think my question got lost in the quick nature of this thread.

Can you tell me if entry Rule #4 is far any trade, or for conditions where PA is staying above/below the outer bands?

Thanks a lot for sharing the simple and profitable system. I am following this thread with enthusiasm right from the beginning.
I write this to point out what I feel a discrepancy in wording in your post #1, entry rules # 1 & 4 where you describe the entry rules. In entry rule # 1 you mention that “we do not need a close beyond the our bands…” and at the same time in entry rule # 4 it is stated that we will take a short/long trade only if price is above /below the upper/lower bands and testing a resistance/support level.
My question is: Is it a ‘no trade’, if price touches the upper/lower band and reverses and where the resistance/support level is much above/below the bands?
I would much appreciate your reply.

Al - Why can't each of us just add two lines into the indicator window.
line one = 0.50 and line two = -0.50 - If slope above line go long only and vice versa if line is below.

The second. First you have to have the price above the bands. Rule 2.

We moved to risk off so it is normal that the dollar would rise while stocks and the euro drop. I don´t quite understand your point. Can you elaborate, Please.

You are correct. I failed to change the wording of Rule 1 when I changed the others. Thanks for pointing it out.
