I sold Gold long a bit over an hour ago at 1781.60. It is now $66 bucks lower. That would have wiped out many an account. Gold is an extremely dangerous animal. I recommend you all stay as far away from it as you can.

Al thanks for your thoughts, I wasn't trying to encourage anyone to trade the 1M TF I was just letting you know the results I've had. It is definitley more tiring and riskier but with patience and the strength of your system it can be very profitable especially factoring in what's going on with the other TFs. I have been at this 6 years now full time and have never had such consistency with my results. My confidence is increasing every day. This is what I have been looking for my entire trading career. Al thanks for all your hard work and willingness to share, you have definitely provided me with a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi all of you guys and master Al!

Just back home and its funny how curious I am to discover what is happened today.

It's like i was after a serial and when I'm back I'm eager to know what's new in the thread.

The thesis of slope/price divergence has been confirmed? any new idea or indicator for refining entries and exits? Who knows ? I will discover reading next pages (I leaved at page 113 this morning and i have no idea about how many I have to read now to recover the pace - it ' s exciting anyway though I ve no much time right now to trade- i hope you all had great pips)

Surfnomad... on your one minute trades have you been confining yourself to entries only at S/R levels or the TMA lines

This may take me a while to adjust to the new rules.

So with A/U 15M the price has been rising all day but the TMA slope has been falling all day untill about 3pm.

Then price dropped rapidly and pierced the lower band, TMA slope started to rise and price bounced of FPV, (actually 4 times).

Determine direction with TMA, wait for price to pierce line, look for divergence between price and TMA slope and open trade at support or resistance.

Maybe orders are good for this strategy set at support or resistance when we see divergence and price is well outside the TMA lines.

Could you explain the above? I thought PA has been below -0.50 and is only now creeping up- meaning it is getting higher than -0.50 and therefore out of the short zone?

Here is an H4 THV4 chart. This is my bread & butter system Iīve used for years. Until now, of course with the TMA system...

As you can see, EurUsd has double topped and look at the Trix Bear divergence arrows (Middle indicator). You can also see clear divergences on the RSI (Bottom indi). The pair is due for a big drop that just started today. I saw it last night and went short big time.

I use S/R levels daily weekly & monthly pivots & midpivots calcuated on 5pm EST. I also use key fib levels from longer times. For example Al just mentioned the USDJPY and PA is way outside upper band on the H4, H1, M15, & M5 and wicked into the 76.4% ret of the most recently move down on my H1 charts and couldn't close above my daily R2 on M15. so I entered the trade above upper band on my M1 and it is approaching lower band on M1 right now if it bounces I'll close here but if it blows thru that I will switch to my M5 TF to manage the trade. So I definitely rely on info from longer TFs but the entries on the M1TF for me really mimimize the draw down for me.

Looks good. Thatīs exactly where I shorted GbpJpy. The Slope indi was dropping and was testing R3.
