Got all four signals for a long a while ago (red line), currently down 21 pips. Looking for a bounce at S2...

Yes. That would be when Rule 1 becomes valid so if the other Rules are also valid, itīs a good trade. You can be inside the range zone and it would be a good trade also. You donīt need to have the actual cross into the zone as long as you are in it.

Sorry, I had UsdCad in H1 TF. That is becoming a problem for me. I have 24 charts on my screens and sometimes I change Periodicity to see how the pair looks in a different TF and I forget to change it back. I need an indicator that clearly stands out with the actual TF. A big M15, H1, H4, etc. Maybe in the upper left corner of the chart in red. Any volunteers to make it for me? I would appreciate it.

You were too close to center line when you entered that position. That is dangerous. You need to wait for price to be outside the band as much as possible. This is very important to have a high probability trade. Even higher if you have a support level to help you there.

I saw that somewhere ..... i'm pretty sure it exists....i'll try to find it out

Hey Al,

Thank you for creating this thread, I have almost caught up with the reading and it has been great. Lots of new things to learn and this seems like a great system.

I have been demoing this today and so far had two trades with +33pip total.

Going to continue following this thread and hopefully go live very soon once I gain the confidence.

The progress here is really fast. Kind of hard to keep up some times.

I Tried going through the posts from the beginning and compiling your tips and advice, but only was able to get to post #470 with 29 pages in MS Word.

I was so exhausted that I had to take a day off! (I'm no spring chicken, you know!)

Anyway, by the time I got back to the thread, many things had changed, and there were more posts than I had managed to compile.

I think it would be best for me to focus on watching the system develop and see where it's going before starting this project, though I may work at it a bit from time to time.

Right now I need to focus on trading it, not describing it, es verdad?

Sound like Carl's slope indicator's da bomb!

Thanks for the reply Al, at the time though price was 13 pips from the center line (including spread) and I was shooting for a couple of pips shy of the FPV. However, price was inside the lower band at the time, but I will be more particular about only taking entries outside the bands-would you agree?

Thank you so much for sharing your trading strategy.

I have downloaded your zip file, and tried your strategy for few days using demo account. So far I have gained 7%.
There is some thing I need to ask, may i know how to see the TMA slope?

I admit that I kind of just glazed over the 5x5 EAs as I only use MT4 for charting and manually enter my trades.

After getting into several trades that did not go my way, I searched and found this post that explained the importance of using the EA's for entering to avoid bad entries. Now I understand why I was having problems.

Any ideas on how I can use the 5x5 EA's to signal a trade since I don't use MT4 to make trades?

So that you know where I talk to you from for all those hours, here is where I spend most of my waking time. A good 14 hours a day spent in this office looking at these charts.

Yes, please. Take a break. At our age we canīt overdue it, you know. Take it easy and weīll worry about compiling it all later in time.

The slope indicator is work by Zznbrm and Easy Ryder, with some help also from Shah.

Carl is responsible for the great dashboard he supplied yesterday.

MQ4 of the dashboard will not be supplied until we have a near final version to not confuse matters badly. I agree with Carl on this (and most everything else, for that matter).

Thatīs what I do. It seems the few times Iīve taken trades inside of it, I tend to not do as well.

Argh, so that's how you get 9 charts on 1 screen, no market watch or terminal open.

I like to see my open positions and pending orders so 9 charts is pretty cramped even witha 23 inch screen.

I don't have the sun here but a good view out the window when I remember to look
