S&P500: it looks like a right-angled broadening formation.That explains overlapping wave patterns in commodity currencies.I prefer a beak-out into the downside but with this type of patterns anything is expected.

Just wondering if you could point me in the direction a great book or two regarding COT. I'm sure there are tonnes out there but the right one maters when there is so much information.

You may want to read Larry Williams "Trade stocks and commodities with the insiders" or "Sentiment in the forex market" by Jamie Seattele.

2. How to influence any changes in the COT report on the chart so you decide to become a seller or buyer? Since I've come across when COT has been shown to have extremely bullish but prices would rise steadily

I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to COT but Im getting there thanks to Larry W!

I have a chart here which I take to Mean that the Aussies days are numbered and we are in Distribution of longs. We are definitely moving into an area of low interest by the commercials and increased activity of the funds and Specs. We are also getting more net longs with the small traders.

So I think we drop from here. Wyckoff will show me entries.

Just want to know your thoughts as I want to learn this.

Nice trade!
A-you cannot define reversal with COT report precisely but you may want to change your bias when the non-commercial positioning changes from long to short or vice versa. Also you can guess the extreme reversal when there is a divergence between price and non-commercial positioning.

It seems there could be a drop from here on the card but I am not that confident considering the price action and the market sentiment.
