H4 is long...
I wont go short yet, we need more info.
If you look at the red line in TDI it is quite curled pointing to the roof.That meaning green will often bounce and point up too.We'll see.

Hi,

Take a look at Day chart at Tokyo open today..
Is that a reversal setup or just a price pullback?
If reversal, then you sell high.
Otherwise, buy low.

Tricky day, when many tell me USD is weak?????

I know we suppose to trade S3 H1 EU, but while waiting...why not take 20pips from its British cousin ...EURGBP.
1pip =15usd

To everyone,
Yesterday I read a post from an experienced trader which got me thinking, as there is no harm in sharing, here it is;

"In order to trade lower time frames, the next time frame up must have decent momentum."

Pretty straight forward, but I have never thought to check for momentum on higher TF, only direction.

so we may be setting up for a short trade.

 

  1. possibily a lower high on H1 developing
  2. if this candle continues to run out of steam may be a cross on TDI
  3. TDI above 50, close to 68

any coments?

Out of my trade with a nice profit.

One thing that I think is overlooked in terms of money management, is that trade setup ratio needs to be taken into consideration.

If you look at the last trade that I took, the stop loss distance was very close to where current price was... if you are calculating your risk per trade based on your stop loss then you really don't need many pips in your favour to reach a desired target.

I believe that each trade should be based on the setup in question and the stop loss you calculate for that particular trade.

Stating pip profit is pointless if you are using this type of money management method. It's relative to the stop loss distance you calulated when first entering the trade, and this should be taken into consideration if you are using this type of money management scheme.

You are correct. I agree totally.
It is the Expectancy which is one of the performance factors we look for in any system.

Do some more research and reading into system design.
