I agree. There are some basic things you have to do with any system and with any timeframe. Checking with the nearest higher TF must be a habit, you have to do it automatically. When I trade M15, I would never go against good H1 trend.

Yes, it was a bit risky. However, it was well over the band, there was a spike and the ma crossover turned red. I decided to go in anyway..

The rules said not steep is ok. It depends on what is steep or not steep I guess.

I would agree with grechmar, I think this trade has a potential and it is NOT against the rules. Al talks about very steep angle (please re-read the first post), but in our case the angle is not that steep, it is close to the neutral IMHO.

we clearly have to define more precisely "the trend" with Al
The TMA steep can no be enough
we'll very often have counter trend trades if we only use tma
at least it's my opinion

I'm sure in a couple of days Al would explain it in details. But right now I think that if the angle is less than 30 degrees, then it is not that steep. Just my two cents.
