I was but the EA kicked me out early.....Cant explain it...first time using. But nonetheless profitable.

AudNzd looks spectacular for a long. Sitting right on the Pivot and good for 30 pips to the top band.

A strategy either works or it doesnt. You find that out by trading it. Past is past, this is now.

What I find really curious in forums is how people come along and make assumptions about a strategy's performance without the proper due diligence and adequate testing and therefore without proof of a win loss scenario.

Just because they say so....ha ha.

I've been trying to keep up with the posts, which are great, and learning a lot, thanks to all!

I get the feeling that Al's working himself to death, often answering a lot of questions that were answered in previous posts.

On the other hand, a new member has a hard time catching up with 60 pages, 900 posts and 96 attachments. In 3 days no less! LOL!

Of course, Favorite's suggestion about checking the first page for the time of the last post and going to that time reading forward was great.

But if you are new and missed that suggestion (made twice), good luck!

Maybe it should be on Al's signature: Go to page one. Read it. Be sure you understand it to the best of your ability before you post!

Closed too at +12 pps, i see wat u say on eu/cad went through R3 alrdy, still figuring out when to short it, might go up to 1.334 altough it sees moving in a range. When are u planning to short?

Not for a long time. EurUsd broke out. Glad I jumped ship on EurAud. It felt weak against R1.

And now that you mention, I really do not believe in backtesting. I prefer to gauge the viability of a strategy and do forward tests.

Now you see what I mean about making a double top when the down move stalls. Now it´s ready for a great short because all the sell stops were already taken out on EurUsd, so t should drop now..

Al, back here. I've been very busy and I couldn't keep an eye on Forex.

Why talk about a long AUDNZD? Although the band has not touched bottom.

Also now you talk about going for only 10 pips on some orders, I see that I have read much of what I missed, because this is not the original strategy.

Many times when these pairs come in strong over the TMA they will try to make a double top or similar pattern. I thought that might be the case here so I decided to pass on the first try and go for the second.
