Until we have an indicator with hard and fast rules, it is somewhat subjective at this point. You need to decide if the angle of the trend is too steep for a counter trend or if it is only a slight angle and safe for a counter trend trade.

OK. Going back to how a trade develops. For example, look at that trade that fell fast on GbpUsd earlier today. You enter the trade above the band. In that case it was a rare triple top. Now, when it starts coming down, you want to see the Heiken Ashi candles looking exactly like in this case. All of them Red, stairstepping and none of them with tails. If you start seeing one of the candles stalling and especially if it starts painting a tail, its better to get out because the percentage of a return for another test of the high is, just that, high. Sometimes it will continue down after a pause, but its better to pocket your 10 pips and try again later. Thatīs the beauty of Heiken Ashi candles. They almost talk to you about what price is doing.

Only very steep trnd matters. Iīll change that on page one to "very steep". If it is slightly steep or sideways, it doesnīt matter.

is that that brokers/machines got to get daytraders back with some profits so that there is more volume...so they throw out little systems for you that work for a while...and only at extremes....

Grechmar, Now that you have a Red HA candle, you need to watch to see how price handles R1. If it really struggles with it take the 10 or 12 pips and run.

"brokers/machines" don't effect market , banks and hedge funds does , but they don't care about retailers making/losing money , especially in foreign exchange markets where 90~% of retail traders lose money .

A good thing to do in a case like this is to switch to M5 or M1 and look at the battle with Ri. You see it more clearly there. You also look at EurUsd. If that hangs tough, you wonīt break R1.

I did too! EA kicked me out before it hit the otherside Jeez! Dont see where you can change that setting. TP is set for 0 right now.
