Just had a quick look! I remember some of the traders on Million Dollar Trader prog saying they thought Anton was a ****** - seems as though they had an insight!! One old guy in particular was not best pleased with him! LOL

Watching EU level at 1.3283 area for break and RR - been watching it for a few days. Pierced slightly but still looks good area for breakRR - on the radar.

Is this drop from 5878 a shake out of weak long positions following the recovery from 5643, or something more ?

4hr chart below shows the previous 4hr swiing hi zones previous resistance [non immediate] ) that contain first the 50% fib of the recent 5643-5878 move (a - b) then the 61.8% of such.

Lookinng bearish on 1hr down so far today

Uk Boe/Mpc minutes tomorrow.

The recent 5878 Hi was at the descending daily trend line connecting points a and b on Daily chart below, point b being the 5927 Hi.


Some follow thru then today off yesterday's daily t/f inverted hammer candle off said trend line.

This Sunday is the paid webinar. (It's not going to Charity this time - I'm trying to get out of my losing Webex trade for breakeven lol)

We are going to go over drawing levels in excruciating detail.

Levels are something a lot of people are familiar with but you still often get a lot of traders referring to levels as "zones" sometimes 50 - 100 pips wide. I've found that to be of no real help to me.

With levels you need to mark (and certainly trade) the turning point not the "zone" if you want to have a high probability of :

a) not hanging around in the trade while it chops
b) being able to use a relatively tight stop and
c) achieving a decent R

Hope to see some of you there!

Oh and P.S.

Today we are on red alert watching for :

* EUR/GBP A rounded retest at 0.8405 (I know, I know, it's a cross but I'll throw it out there for you because it is an outstanding level and I know I'm never going to stop you trading the crosses lol)

* GBP/USD : An H1 SFP at 1.5644 (Great level albeit third touch but huge over extension of the ATR if we get down there makes it acceptable)

* NZD/USD : An H1 SFP at 0.8244 (Same deal as Cable above)

* USDCHF : Break and rounded retest of the huge D1 level at 0.9080

* Silver : Break and rounded retest of the key 34.40 level for long positions

EU for break and retest at 1.3285


UCHF for rounded retest at 0.9082


Silver for break and retest at 34.45.

got 2 Q's :
Anybody on that long EU 1.3285 retest or is it not far enough from the break ( 3 1H bars...)

and do you guys take trades just before news if a level you where waiting for had been reached ? ( say 30 min before news ?)

There is not really enough space for me on that level. There is no rule that you can't take these kinds of trades. I just see them as more aggressive and I rarely take them unless I have a major D1 bias and there is a confluence at the level. The other thing to be aware of is that you are trading against, what is currently, a D1 SFP. It doesn't mean it will end as an SFP but the major session for volatility only has approx a couple of hours left.

I am happy to take a trade before news but it does DEPEND on what news.

Sigh... I read this post, I take a look on my chart and... buy limit is triggered. I am really good in taking the bad deals. Maybe I should post all of them as an indicator to stay out of the market

Thanks, I also wanted to ask about the trading against the 1.3322 lvl (d1 SFP) meaning R/R does play a role in taking a trade....
will read some more and hope to join a sminar or two after finishing reading this thread

LOL APeng, there was a time that I whated to do the same.... my "trade the opposite then me" Indicator was soo good, I could charge ppl money for it !!!

I had four losers in a row just before Christmas. It wasn't pleasant.

You seem to be a very good trader from what I read of your comments so keep it up.

Cried to early, trade ran into TP and another one on USDCHF RRT 0.9080 too!
Probably my TP were not well chosen as I a donīt know how to make them out accurate but the draw down on USDCHF was awesome with only 1 Pip!
Thanks for the level, Tom! (I subscribed for the webinar on sunday as it is a topic I canīt wait to learn more about it)
