Hello all,

i have no problems at all with you guys trying it on the 15min. i've mentioned a few times that i started out trading this on the 15min chart. For the purpose of explaination on this thread i used 1hr and daily (sometimes). Reasons being are that i trade these a lot now, they are nice and slow with 1 or 2 trades per day...the idea is to get across that 3 good trades a week are enough. also so people wouldn't get confused (when people are posting multiple entries on multiple TF's on several pairs and then expect me to comment...noooo)....
Ignored
Lets stick to 1hr then, there would be less confusion, and plenty of time to alert others of a possible set up.I'm sure it would be better

Skype room would be good?

if people wish to trade 15mins why not do it the way i used too..

use your best spreads for two 15min charts (believe me this can be as important as your entry on lower TF's)...for me it's EU and GU.

use 3 or 4 other pairs on the 1hr TF's.

just a suggestion of how i used to play.

Caillou...
If it's not to much trouble, could you please highlite your entries and exits on the 15m chart that was posted with your comment...
I'm not sure I'm seeing it correctly...
Like the idea of using the 15m TF but keep missing the proper entry/exit...
Appreciate your input...
Thanks much
Cliff

Hi Kraven,

When you have multiple 1hr setups triggered on the majors, how do you select which trade to take? i.e., g/u, e/u, a/u, ...

Do you look at which has been "swinging" the most or where it is in relation to its ADR at all?

Thanks for posting the setups btw...too many times i have been on the other side of your trades it seems...all of those breakout fakeouts i used to take.

Ow, shucks Fourx.
But seriously if you're looking at H1 then Kraven and Gt3rs are probably the boyz.

Anyway, I'll probably find it hard to stay away. It's nice here.

Sorry brightside as with all trading there is no definitive answer. I do look at the swing and ADR, but also where the 100 annd 200mas are, the daily, weekly open etc...right now i'm in EJ and EU so got to cut this short

ok i'm out of EJ for 1:1 (i was in both EJ and EU...i put GU by mistake on my last quick post). I got out because both kind of mirror each other, the pips i took on EJ will about cover any potential losses on EU.

as i was trying to say in the last post all entries have to be looked at differently (it's also good practice to do so, something you'll probably not do on 15m TF)

what did i see in these 2 entries? EJ a trade with the trend, support from y high and 106.500...EU support from previous weeks high, which had previously been resistance that kept it range bound for a few days

hey Kraven

the EJ pinbar 3 bars before your entry must have been a short signal, why did you not take it?
