At this point the price has touched the opposite band and the long was successful. You should exit the trade if you are one way or move to condition two if you are signal to signal in order to soon reverse the trade.

The GU also is bouncing off the pivot but the histogram is the off color, at least on my chart, A, do you take into account when the signal is the darker color?

Yes. As long as it closes Red, light or dark, the short will be opened according to the rules if the Spike is there at the close of the bar. I personally like to place the order on the other side of the TMA Bar or close to it. Itīs a bit to far for my liking right now so I would pass on this one if we were to get a Red soon. Again, Itīs risk and reward. The higher price is, the larger the reward.

So far today, the system is 3 for 3 (2 longs and a short) for about 230 pips in profit. If you add to that the order that was opened from yesterday which closed this morning, it would be an additional 70 pips.

The trades are attached.

I guess I woulda taken that one, it was even rejected by the pivot three times...there is a very similar system thread in the factory not using the TMA but is based on extreme(semaphor) and pivot rejection. But I see what your saying...the HA candle closed above the lower band.

If we want to use 5m timeframe, would you change TMA's setting ? I looked at it and I would assume not, but just want to make sure.

Yes you would have to change from 200 to 300 or so, but the moves are not as predictable as far as exits are concerned because Price is all over the place with respect to the bands.

Euh... you must be refering to atr settings, the indi comes set at 100. Ok lets try 300

Could you please attach the files other than .par as i cannot seem to open it. I am on windows 7. I have tried different ways but it will open in ureadable format.

Mauricio, on this position you will see that you have the D1 Pivot just under the top band. It would be wise to take profit there. It may break the Pivot and keep goĄng to the band but itīs risky. It is always important to keep an eye on the support and resistance levels, especially the D1 pivot.

Are many pairs that I see. Still do not know if I exit when GBPJPY touche the opposite band or if are I using signal to signal. I think it's best to use signal to signal only with one pair for now to learn more about the strategy. For me it pair is EURUSD.

What do you think?
