Thats right.Its the 5 MA smoothed low, I have one 5MA smoothed high too(no shift), both making a PA channel.

I think that's it's meant to be 14.30hr (UK). But it would be no surprise if it was delayed (to well into the closed US session)! I suspect that their are loads of scribes pushing out the paper even now!

Morning All, I guess it must be that our brokers are opening after the weekend at different times, by my chart doesnt show a 60 pip move, Today opens on a 25-30 pip candle for me and the rest of the move is just the gap between fridays close and mondays open.
Anyways, what is the U.S bank holiday in aid of today?

I'm lookin' at a bounce of the 200 EMA to the upside. No cross yet so don't jump yet but Russel2k and S&P500 showin' weakness as well. Take it easy guys

Hi guys,

Im still practicing this method, and I think Im getting a little bit the hang of it.

I dont trade a lot of signals, only the sureshots and for me thats pin bars, most of the time tdi hasnt crossed yet, a good hook and a stoch confirm is all I need, the rest price action. Took teh long at exactly 1.32000. I m up 16 pips now, atr is 20, im trading 1.5 tdr, thats my profit target.

Stoploss now at entry, beginning of the trade below the pin apprx 19 pip.

When I saw the PA struggles I closed it at BE quite fast..It was max at 6 pip profit meh

Today im half asleep at the PC had a sleepless weekend. Too much partying lol.
I miss the long trade. If you look at why a long would be goos was that PA bounced off the daily pivot.
An entry at 1.32050 wouldve been a nice entry.

As you will see, a number of us entered short at the start of the LO candle, which was the second decent-ish red candle, TDI bounce of 7.1, cross of the 4 EMA, TDI crossing Market Base Line ... etc etc.

Risks I identified at the time were low ATR (i.e. low volatility so far today) and it being Monday morning and no clear trend yet.

Is there any particular reason you wouldn't have entered there? Is it better to wait until the 10am London candle to avoid fakeouts etc, especially on a Monday?

Here's how it looked at entry time (approx 9:02am London) :

Yes im the one thats mistaken.
The daily pivot is at 1.31500 and PA seen to bounce off the daily R1. Looks like my mind is shut down LOL

Today i wont be taking any trades. I never trade when im tired , sleepy or depressed and today im tired and sleepy so im out for today. Maybe ill be all fresh during the NY open. we will see.
