Some have more pros than cons. Some have more cons.

... so this one time i was eating an ice-cream, and i don't like strawberry flavor yet of course this was the flavor of the ice-cream. no matter how much i kicked and screamed and cried and complained, the ice-cream refused to turn itself into vanilla-flavored. each spoonful tasted exactly the same as the previous, even until the very last mouthful that i put in my mouth and swallowed.

then the next day i go to the local store and see that they are selling even MORE strawberry ice-cream. i mean, seriously? are these ice-cream people for real? how dare they? after all i went through, and they have the nerve to continue to sell strawberry ice-cream!

ice cream is alright
i hate ice confection.

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while but you all know where to find me ([email protected]) for any trade issues. I thought I'd respond to some of the funny but misguided comments on here.

To respond to the comments on the Technical Analysis online portal, it is of course a promotion encouraging people to sign up for an account. But as we value our existing clients, we did not want to exclude anyone from taking up the offer so we thought we’d keep it simple with a $500 reload to your account to qualify.

The online portal is a handy extra, but there are a limited number of licences at this stage. We have simply attempted to manage demand this way so that clients who really actually want tool will obtain a licence. For those that think its a gimmick(alpha bet), you don't have to use it.

If you feel you should be granted a licence without meeting the requirement, simply call us – TheMaxx if you could identify yourself by emailing customer service again, or by calling the office we will sort you out with a licence.

Sutters, our average spread has is EURUSD 1.55 pips for the last week and has been coming down each day from the start of the year. If you are staring at our quotes you'll see the spread is also very consistent unlike our fellow dealing desk competitors (who claim to be STP) whose spreads often jumps up and down.

Slippage #1, Firstly we are a five digit broker and if you have a stop loss or take profit at 1.33010 and the price goes from 1.33015 to 1.33006 you will be filled at 1.33006. The less traded the pair, the more likely difference between one quote to the next therefore will be greater the chance of slippage.

Slippage #2, Most people who have traded in FX know that there is a depth underneath a bid/ask quote. So if we get 100 mil volume all at the same second and direction, the 100 mil is not going to get filled at the same bid/ask quote. So if every man and his dog is trading a very popular EA that trades all at the same time you can't expect the same fill across the board, as there will be 10+ ticks taking that much flow in one second.
