someone help fx with this. mike spent two months trying to help my old brain figure it out. its not hard you just need the steps and i dont have them written down.

Mike, u mean u don't use alertFX.com or u don't use any form of alerts at all? Been wondering how u and other seniors here keep close tabs on potential setups which we have been watching closely for long time but we can't be at the our monitor all times ,yet it wld be a waste if we missed a setup we've been watching closely. Do u guys trade with smart phone or something while on the go?

I use sound alerts since I am by my computer most of the day. If I am away and have to manage trades generally I make time for it or know I don't need to be closely monitoring. My style of trading is a bit more lenient so I don't babysit my trades all to often

I can post my sound alerts if you want them though

Back to biz. U showed a chart earlier abt BUOB at BRN on GBPPLN. Now this chart has printed a bearish PB. How do u view this setup now? Does this bearish PB negate the previous BUOB? Or wld it be a good short entry now if the PB breaks? THks

The most common issues I think I see people have is that they zoom in their charts to much and it gives a bit of a skewed view on the true strength of a bar.

Hey FX

Nope it's some very annoying tune. It's gone off during a few webinars and people have been like what the hell is that lol

I closed out at the previous marked area on the chart I posted Reason being it was very likely for what is happening to happen. This wasn't a trade I felt worth holding(unlike the usd/jpy I am in ).

This pinbar is now in a boxed area, or trading into major trouble. Mostly the blue marked area and the BRN. This is part of the reason that it wasn't worth holding on my trade. It's likely we get a test of this area before moving higher(if we move higher which seems likely).

Hi folks

forgot to post the chart last time

anyway, we have a 12 hr PB but the Daily close could have been better

I have a Sell Limit at 1.4570 with a 25 pip SL

Similar play on the EU-G but buying

Any thoughts?

there is nothing wrong with the way you did it. yours is spot on. when im trying to get a pivot and a trendline to line up the most critical thing to me is do they line up on a large round number? as a result i will fudge just a hair. your trendline and your pivot interesection MUST HAVE CONFLUENCE WITH A LARGE ROUND NUMBER ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NOT USING A BAR CONFIRMATION.
