i think it's a valid signal but turned out to be false. i find that this system works best after the london market opens (0700h). hope this helps

BJ1 posted that qn about AU a couple of hours ago. he's referring to the reversal candle at 0300h, not the one at 0600h. i agree the 0600h candle is not a reversal candle on account of colour.
entered long on GU (1.5689) and EJ H1 (102.45) based on reversal candle at 0700h although the candle bodies are pretty long. let's see how it goes...

sorry, I agree with you then Omd,it would have possibly been a signal but it did not break the high by a couple of pips?

Hello. 07:00 GMT yesterday. Turned out to be plum. I missed it though as I tend to wait till London opening and am just testing this strategy.

There will always be anomolies beacuse of different brokers.
Yeah, yesterday's deal on EU turned out to be a cracker!

Whatfx - if you don't see any signals, you don't trade. It really is that simple!!

Not having a position is having a position.

I'm happy to wait a week for a signal.

With proper position sizing, you only need a couple of trades a WEEK.

So be patient! It's a key ingredient in your makeup as a trader
Hi. I've done some back-testing on GU H1 and am having trouble with chart saving. I know it is really simple but if anyone can just tell me which type of chart I am to save on MT4 I would really appreciate it.

3 Not Triggered (NT)
Total Pips +305
Assumed all trades taken without any other reference than KRC
All trades taken immediately on KRC breakout
All stops at top or bottom of KRC
All Profit or Loss taken at 1:1 or at competing KRC
Spread not accounted for so BE is probably a loss
Sundays ignored
Continuation swings not taken
Notes
(1)Probably triggered but perhaps taken loss and Dead Stop.
Counted as -49 pips
(2)Perhaps lower low would have invalidated signal. Counted as -34
(3)Can’t tell what might of happened so left out
(4)Took 16 hours
(5)19 hours to entry. Counted as cancelled

If today gets any more boring I might take a look at something else

Yeah, I want to for my own benefit anyway and as F all is going on at the mo I probably will. Have randomly begun GBP/AUD as I want to follow several pairs anyway. I will edit the post to include that continuation swings are not added in but they should be considered though on trading this system.

Are you still holding the EJ position?
