Save the .mq4 file in the experts\indicators folder. The mq4 file will create/compile the ex4 file when you launch metatrader.

yes i'm only testing H1. some more questions:

is there an indicator for open, high, lows or i just eyeball them?

what do i do with the 200/100ma? i've added them.

use 100 and 200 for SR.

here's an indi...make sure you alter it for your broker e.g. +1
switch everything off ...no pivots etc. just have open switched on, and yesterdays high low

IT is not my strong point but if anyone wants an indi just for yesterday high/low then I have one. Just don't know how to put it in here.

Kraven, I am still trying to differentiate reverse trend and continuation. What kind of confirmation do you use before you enter to make sure the reverse candle entry won't turn as continuation?

btw, i assume you took the 0700h bar as the reversal candle but doesn't the reversal candle have to be right after a green bar? in this case, the 0600h candle is already red. anyone else care to comment? kraven?

If you want to keep an eye on the opening price levels for the different sessions, this indicator is a handy tool.

I have 2 instances of it on my charts in different colours. One shows the London open and the other shows the NY open.

blackfeet as i mentioned before by it's very nature if you get a KRC on 1hr you will get it on the 15min....but with lower SL. look between your entry and 1hr too see.

OMD and Gt3rs your in a strange position where a generaly corrilated pairs are going in oppersite direction, tip: try looking at Eur/Gbp to see which is stronger and go with that one

RicO i don't avoid news as it can work for you as well..with this system i see a lot of people sell off or buy because of news causing a KRC, they might know something we don't?...i will lessen/adjust stops though

Rabhni good question...the answer: i don't...if we knew it was going to be a continuation then we'd all be rich...i just play it as i see it....however, this is were moving your SL to BE or to the top of the breakout candle helps...also looking at where the higher trends are going too, i feel i have a better chance of it being a KRC if it's going with the long term trend.

hope that's all the questions answered.....

both EU and GU entry should have made you money if you stayed in and kept SL to the KRC (7am on EU), i would have moved SL to above 6am red candle....now i'd have taken some profit...even though GU was a cleaner move i'd have possibly entered EU as weekly, monthly and sentiment is still against the Euro.

Blackfoot on the NU you have had 3 signals in a short time. on the 1hr we have had one (hence a good one for newbies)..this is where you have to sort out the good from the bad (even though all would have given RR:1:1 or more). good luck.

First and above all I THANK YOU QUITE A LOT.... You definitively made me understant the famous (never explained) PA !

Second, as we consider the TFs : the shorter the more work to do but :
* the SL is smaller,
* Less boring,
* I don't agree : some times there is a M15 signal without a H1 (for instance : NZD/USD 12:30 pm GMT)

and finally, the M15 signals come sooner (for instance I got the 10:00am GMT at 10:14:59 and not at 10:59:59).

But, eventually, this is not for the (bad) pleasure of arguing as I repeat I thank you for this very good thread and for all the time you spend explaining and showing.

you misunderstand black foot.......yes there ARE 15m signals but not 1hr....However there are not many, not always, but not many 1hr without 15m... as the top of the 1hr pullsback it often (not always) forms a KRC on 15 or 5min

...hence my previous post to you about 3 signals on 15m to 1 on the hrly.....but at the top of the hrly you should see a 5m or 15min entry form first (most times)

Short brief today:
EU 1 signal sell at the top (risk 30pips.....would have 90 pips).....still moving short.....
GU 2 signals, one sell mid-range ( risk 22.....would have 36 pips) one buy pull back (risk 22pips.....would have 26 pips). Moving short.....
AU classic example sell at the ADR top (risk 30.....would have 28 pips).....still moving short.....

hi guys - great thread...very interesting ideas being put forward. Can I ask one question. Im dont yet fully understand how the ADR indcator works or is created (put together) Could somebody please enlighten me or point me in the direction of a good book on the matter?!? ANy help would be much appreciated
