putting something on a bumper sticker does not change reality.
small businesses employ more people then any other group. but more small businesses are a guy with a truck/car. or working out of the home. not the billion $ companies that are considered small business because of the amount of people they employ.
i worked once at a refinery. it was was part of a big corporation.
as a stand alone refinery it employed under 500 people. its income was in the billions. the amount of money don't matter its unlimited. what mattered is the amount of employees. 500 or less is a small business (u.s. defense dept. standard). i can actually employ many more if they are contractors. that amount is unlimited.
i can also have many refineries and do each one the same way. and i am still considered, a small business owner.
