Could someone comment on this situation here please? I see this row of bar highs below the BRN. Do they mean anything in particular like this? I can see they are testing parity but is there a leaning towards a trade long or short when we see this?
Or does it mean nothing at all and is just consolidation?

Hi Mike ,
seems i am entering a series of questions here , but please tell me if i cross the line of decency

1 - GBPNZD - I tried to put my story on the chart :
Lows fading and we are in a box with a top -> ppz and 1.9000 (very respected level BRN)
Last attempt for a new low ended as a double pin bars , which i interpret as a rejection .
Not quite sure if counts as the "rounding effect" but fade of momentum in my opinion .
Now we broke long . Scenario i want to see is a bullish PA (pin or buob) testing the whole zone (between the magenta line and 1.9000).

My question is : Am I getting close ?

2 - USDJPY - some weekly stuff here . Trendline , fading momentum . No BRN here , but we are just in the middle of 75.00 and 80.00 (77.50) , which is certainly also important . 77.50 is the top of the box we are in .
Looking for confirming PA long at a break of that TL , using the other confluence . My question again is did I see right the rounding/fade of momentum part ?

Slowly getting there i hope ?

There are buy stops building above this consolidation and sell stops on the other side. It is worth watching it on H4 / H1 timeframe in anticipation of breakout or a fakeout which will put a lot of traders on the offside. AU is probing its support aswell .

Did I do this correctly Jarroo and if so, what time frame should I use to enter the trade? Please direct me to any of your post's so I can lean more about your technique, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Rust

Both your pairs look good and pretty close to what I would be watching for. Usd/jpy I consider more intervention existing then fading momentum, but we can see 75 is the level that's being protected. I wouldn't say we broke the TL but we are certainly pushing up on it again. I would be more likely to pass on most PA here, and prefer to look for PA off the two BRNs which would be out of this tighter range. But if we get some huge BUOB off the TL or something it could certainly be worth it.

Nice entry, but watch for this area too, i would have this down as my FTA
As you can see to left of chart, price has trouble closing above here, so be prepared around this area too.

Thanks dean...Would you take half out at the level you suggested? That's only 8 pips away from my entry, I would have been stopped out by now with a tiny profit. Would you watch PA on like a 5min time frame to see how it reacts in that area?

This is the trouble working from 1 hour charts, everything comes very soon. I would wait to the close of the hour candle and then make your next decision. As it is wanting to push over it a little as i type.

Yes it is still valid, technically valid from day 1 when the BUOB broke. I spoke to someone about this one that I would have wanted to see the BUOB close above the BRN.

But notice the BUOB retraced perfectly to the left eye small pivot(white dotted line)and then once we got over 1.23 the midpoint of the box is pretty much a given(another small pivot - purple ). Now the major area is the top blue box area of the top of the "box"

Hey Alex

Your english is great! I took like a decade of french and can speak 2 words of it lol.

There is a ton of written text on the site, but I don't know how this will be if it's hard to learn english. I would certainly think it would be tough to translate. I know we do have quite a few members where english is not their first language, maybe one of them will see this and be able to chime in if it is understandable or not.
