Can't complain today, shorted at 1.3292 this morning. Closed half of my lot at 1.3250 and traling the other half, at +35 now.

This my first trade for the day. Closed half of the trade with 30 pips profit as price is bouncing on 50 EMA.

ECB rate announced 15mins ago. 1.00% as expected. EU steady atm.

I would not take any trades on the E/U on a 1H chart right now with ECB coming up.

Might want to look at some other pairs.

News may continue the bearish sentiment, but we won't know until afterward.

Don't give up any edge you may have during such important news even with a vaild set-up.

Patience always pays. I agree with emmanuel7788 - 4H looks like a great short set up. Major support at 3200.

Correct me if I am wrong. But based on what some of the senior member have told me in the past and what I saw 3 weeks in a row. Am I right to say that these interest rate days for Europe are just as bad as NFP day. Meaning we need to wait for the announcements to clear before entering? It looks like it is a normal thing.

Yes, this is correct. As you can see, price was going down nicely. EUR Rate Announcement hit, price is back over 1.3300 in a matter of minutes. Unemployment numbers are the same way. That's why the smart money waits to see and doesn't rush into anything...

Yes. These announcements can be highly volatile.
The best advice I can give is to be out of the market at least 30 minutes before and do not enter until at least 15 minutes after any major announcements.
The ECB has not settled on how to handle the Greek crisis. Until there is some consensus, look for continued consolidation and whipsaw price action during the actual news.

hey guys
Anyone get any trades?
I went short ealier and locked in 25 pips.
I set my target on the daily pivot as you can see PA bounced off that pivot.
I traded the bounce off the pivot once it past the top of the previous red candle and locked in 30pips.

The rest of my day i spent back testing a scalp system.
its looking pretty neat but let me tell you now it aint for the faint hearted traders.

If traders are battling on the higher TFs then by no means should they move to any TF below the 1H. Only when i trader develops his edge and can make trade executions with no emotion or hesitation then can go to try the quicker TFs.
