waiting for the break up at 1.082 or down 1.068, patience gonna be the key for this entry, big move 200+ pips at least per pair, eur and gpb following, usdchf holding on support, 4 possible trades 800+ pips on the table pa will point direction

hey I am still a noob and I am tryng to be realistic but I don't think we could get a bigger short then 40 pips from 1.0802 where we are right now but that is just my opinion right now still tryng to learn

took 8 pips out of it and left the trade waiting for some further confirmation of the trend...

It's a good play 1.08 is a good resistance, but I'm not trying to dampen your spirits, at least set up a SL 1.09, i kinda doubt you can get more than 50 pips.

Then you got a lot of work to do. Welcome to Forex.

What do you mean by realistic? why do you try to get 20 pips? why do you think we could not get bigger than 40 pips? If you have these answers then you are in the right way, if not and your thinking is only a guess, please get informed that hasard does not exist in Forex.

Good to see that you get your pips waiting from GBP/AUD. I traded only EUR/AUD and get out with 70 pips when i smell the wind changing direction. Seen no confirmation, i prefered stay out to see better. If i did not so, my 70 pips would become 5 pips only as it is my BE. Gaps created from Aussie was almost filled on GA and more than filled in EA.

hey Alki thanks for you reply and I allways apreciated your input, I am thinking it is realistic because it's a sure thing, beyond that point in my mind there is a very important point at 1.0770ish - 1.0760 because in that area it will confirm one of two stories either it will form a lateral channel and it will continue in that direction either it will confirm a double top reversal and after one of those confirmations I will renter the market, but that is just my theory feel free to correct me mate if you think I'm worng

Been trading for over 5 years.
I've made a living finding strongly trending pairs and buying on pullbacks. The Aussie D is currently the strongest currency in all of Forex. Their bank surprisingly announced that it won't lower rates this month. The Interest rate spread between AUD and USD is over 4 percent.
I've had an open long position for weeks. Each day it stays open, I make $122.50 on 13 contracts on the swap alone. The interest rate differential encourages big players to buy Aussie $.
Yes there is short term resistance around 1.08, and you can probably make a few pips shorting around this zone. Just make sure you have a good entry that gives you a more than 1 to 1 RR Ratio. IMO, it's much easier to wait for a pullback and go long because minus a ECB calamity, this pair is probably going to test the previous peak around 1.10.

yeah it will be interesting to see if it will go up to retest 1.10, yes I know about the rate, I managed to grab a few pips this morning thanks to that rate, and also a lot of news channels have confirmed for the last couple of weeks that the aud is the best trade to go long on since it is the safest bet in that sense

I can not correct you lol, i don't trade in that way to do so. Every trader has his own style, strategy and point of view. If you test your strategy (until you get bored with it) and thus with some good success and you know its limit, you can continue, otherwise try to correct it. That's all i can say to you.
