i think you are right. that area is last week's VAH, and also just shy of the VAH for the DEC-JAN value that EU is currently building. Today saw a bounce on DEC-JAN control. as mentioned in earlier post, range bound between these levels until initiative buying is seen. The question now, was today's 3i day enough to get follow through upwards and attract the buying...

the short answer to what is a 3i day...initiative, initiative, initiative.

Basically, a one-direction day that see initiative action from the start, with initiative action continuing and producing initiative range extension for the day. The result is a high probability that the next day will start at least within value, if not above (if buying 3i day) or below (selling 3i day)

They are!......... they care enough not to "enable" those to the point, they cant fend for themselves. If you dont teach your children how to fend for themselves youll end up with a 40 year old child who still lives at home!!!!!!

Im thinking maybe, if it can hold a close above the open (0gmt 24h open) A down day that manages to hold a close above the open would imo might suguest strenghth

I think you take my words too harsh...... The only reason I respond to your posts is because I see and appreciate your eagerness to learn. I dont mind helping you understand something your currently learning. But again to jump ahead is in fact "putting the cart before the horse". A book will give you a much better understanding of "context" than I could in the confines of a "125 character text box". And to think so would be doing you a diservice. I hope to see further posts

Else most of the time one can fall into a trap. I did mention in recently that using VSA could be counter intuitive if u mix it with MP....

hmmm, for example last wednesday london session was 3I-buying without no continuation. yesterday we made a poor low when we tried to find initiative selling below last weeks low and 2 weeks ago POC and after that pit session had a potential short covering rally. we are in intermediate term bracket so when this is gonna brake we will go to the next high volume area.
at this point i just wait with patience to see auction rotation near by reference points

But i won't mix it with MP, that's for sure.

I was smiling to mzvega is becoz she mentioned that she may consider holding & i was just reminding every one here is a 3i day for the US session & also to solicit feedback if i am wrong. Which means is a free exposure day & TG got the discriiption spot on...not forgetting the TPO count too...

I decided to closed one of my previous day longs, as sometimes its good to take profit while you got it. However, I did add to my position on a pullback at the poc of the current profile in anticipation of an upmove. Ill see how long this move may last.

Is this what you mean? Do you qualify this as a possible long setup?
If we have a closed 30 min candle above daily VAH (in this case also weekly VAH is so near) is a good rejection?
Or is not good because the move started before London Open (the red canle before the actual one)?

TK price dip back close to the spike base or onto the spike zone & close back above into IBR & above it's opening price, which is within expectation given the 3-i us session yesterday.

Price is now above the week opening gap, filled & now UK opening aunction suggest an open auction type lingering just above the gap.

Any RE below would be back to the spike zone which would be the immediate ref; but a look above would then be a break out of current..structure...

composite profile here over 12 weeks with a H4 overlay. Indicating yesterday low same as last week low onto the same control. Now price is back into the ascending upper channel after trading back up within the same bracketed upper range...

U have an opening aunction type in UK now which usually means 30mins bar are forming as an Inside bar...any break above or below would trigger a onetime-framing...But u need to acccess the R/R too. If it break up or down, then where is your reference in relation to your risk reward will it face resistance o those reference & reverse RE? etc..
