Robik: i 'visually' compared MBT Desktop with 2 other feeds (eur/usd only), and all 3 appeard to match. Certainly no 27 seconds difference. Maybe it depends on the quoteserver you were connected to, its possible that you got a bad one and i got an unlagged one.

of coarse that is quite possible, i also have to admit that i pull quite a lot of data and depending on how the quote server is implemented it is quite possible that data for clients with only few subscribed symbols can be pushed out quicker... i am just saying that there is room for improvement, but otherwise i am quite happy with the recent improvements.

That makes a lot of sense... I'm only looking at EURUSD and nothing else. Very small amount of data to send to me, or stuff down the pipe on their end.

If they are to give us an unfiltered quote feed... and that is what I want... maybe some lag during what is really an untradable few minutes every month in unavoidable. I don't know what is possible technology wise during such an onslaught of quotes as NFP....
I would gladly trade this feed with (percieved) tick-precision with a say 50ms snapshot feed, if it then is really reliable. Of course these snapshots should be aggregated in an intelligent way, so that no data is being lost. I.E. preserve true high/lows that occur during the intervals, and transmit tick-count and volume for exchange-traded instruments.

Most of these send-every-singe-tick-at-once type of feeds run into capacity problems during busy markets. eSignal has plenty of these problems too..

spoke too soon... around 15:00 GMT the lag got worse (up to 55 seconds) and than the quote server dropped pants... err... i mean the connection

Does anyone else having a problem to connect MT4 from Photon VPS to their live trade server now? The firewall is disable but still cant connect to their live trade server.

However it is ok if I tried to connect from my home pc. This is weird...

Anyone?

Edit: I have checked my network traffic report on Photon VPS. For some reason the live trade server just failed to send a data to Photon VPS. I did check on the demo account but the network traffic report is normal. Justin if you could read this message could you please look into it? I tried to contact your online MT support but they are offline now.

I think i chatted with him before i raised the issue here. He asked me to contact metatrader support which is still offline now. :-(

2012-02-03, my stop loss was executed with 26,7 pips slippage and 1,5 hour delay from the moment it was triggered to the moment it was executed.
See the attached picture.

Same EA on demo account had 0,5 pip slippage and no delay.

ECN - I wonder...

I see there are new rates for the Pay For Limits plan on the website. Any information about when these will be implemented?

What in the world does that have to do with ECN? MB Trading is an STP/ECN broker. No one questions that. What are you suggesting?

Looks like the page has been updated within the last few hours to reflect the current pricing. I guess they are not ready to release the new pricing yet or maybe it was simply an error.

Execution report back has been slow again since... Sunday night. It is around 25 sec late most of time. My EA was triggering duplicate orders. Though I have change the timeout retry delay in EA but the report back shouldn't be so late like that. Anyone else noticed the same? Last time Justin advised the issue had been solved but it has come back.
If you can't tell, just wait. The market will.
