shipping rates tell the Greek story. the u.s. is producing more oil. between this and Canadian oil. we put less on a boat to bring to the u.s.. less ships are needed. more ships were built for a shrunken market. = greeks are fucked more then the last minute passed. gdp is gonna follow. so with a worse outlook for the Greek, minute to minute. whoever had backed them is less likely to collect. what fool is gonna lend them money?
add in the yen is so strong. japan can make products cheaper in another country. the commodities are already in the u.s. the largest customer is in the u.s. less shipping cost = more profit. where would you build? the questions answered is further hurting the Greeks.
