the euro cant remain strong on hope. you need at least one of 3 things to maintain a strong currency. manufacturing, commodities, or banking. you can scratch commodities from Europe and japan.. now lets look at banking... if-ee to say the least. and if the banking is weak in the euz... then where are the Swiss who are heavily invested there?
the strong yen places more future manufacturing in the u.s. to a much greater degree then Europe. cause contrary to popular belief the u.s. is the worlds biggest manufacture. we just consume more then we make. then we grow the worlds food. the u.s. has all of the 3 needed for a strong currency. and with this new ability to export oil. it brings the deficit down. so foreign investment will follow. i still have 13.8xx for the s/p target min. its just the euro has to sink..
with japan looking for a place to make money. its logical to build where you sell. less expense shipping commodities then the finished product. a competitive currency. a able workforce. cheaper energy.

just saying its harder to convert to bigger amounts later on...
but if its just a hobby, go for it
