IF you are looking for shorts, remember you are speculating. You will know when the trend has changed as you will see support turning to resistance. The reversal pattern that started that last up move may be observed at the top but it comes in many forms. Double tops, triple tops, etc. Some reversals are quick, others are slow.

Cad is not clear to me.
Trend is down and COT data suggests further declines, though this may evovle of weeks/months. However, clusters shown in green circles should provide resistance to further drops and therefore at the moment looking for longs may be an idea. That big cluster, could be used as a bias. Longs above / shorts below. The SMALL red box shows demand area. Looking for longs there could be a good idea with stop below.
Longer term I suspect further declines in swissy. However, in the intermediate term looking for an upmove first (of course, that changes if the current support is broken). All going well, ride down (which we just did for nearly 400 pips), ride up and ride down again. Once you have bias, all you are looking for a place where you clearly define and minimse risk. If you draw the lower upward sloping trend line in your chart as I have, look at how well it is holding price.
Hi Heeby, Eur is a bit of a mess so I am not sure. Green circle shows indecision. Market does not know what to do.
Blue TL is the most important line for me at moment on Eur. I am using this as a longer term bias. That's why as I was shorting Eur this past week when price bobbed up and scaled out when price fell (which worked out OK). Cluster in red box held price from futher inclines.
One thing that I do know is that COT data shows an incredibly stong commerial accumulation of the Eur.
