No mz, thanks, you answered to me in a previuos post.... the problem was I ddn't know the indi takes the first 4 1H bars for IB... so, it's natural to have that value....

I think only price action can answer that. A perfectly balanced profile would have the same amount of tpo's above the poc and the same amount of tpo's below. Is the tpo count bearish? if you have more tpos below the poc, then yes, if not, no.

Sorry but I understood it was the opposite:

I do understand, but there are some very good topics of discussions, articles, and links mixed in there. When I took on learning AMT I had to literally unlearn everything I had ever learned in tech. anlaysis. But I do understand the challange of reading the thread.

Your right, my bad!, I dont count the tpos its too difficult for me monitor throughout the day,. I use a vwma/vwap, as a poor substitution, to quickly visualize a round or about estimate tpo count.

Rotation factor, upbars vs. downs, is one of a few ways to gauge direction conviction/attempted direction. tpo count, rf, or composite buying/selling day to help you determine attempted direction. By themselves, the numbers dont mean too much, but further in mind over markets, it explains how to use those numbers in conjucton with volume and value area placement to determine directional performance relationships MoM pp177-194 also

This is why MP is a decision making tool not an indicator, Thats for a trader as an individual, to weigh all the data generated, use what data they find relevent and useful to them for thier personal style of trading.

I trade the same concepts, for all tf profiles.

something i want to understand regarding the tuesday move, move i've got long after in pit session when i saw the exhaustion of continuing to auction down and after i didn't get long in london being overwhelmed by the failure of previous trade.
i'm not gonna go in my reasons to taking the long, but i hope you will find the time to explain why you were so sure it needs another deep, from what i know in same conditions it happened in the past to move straight up...we have a buying tail, we have the volume, the place...what am i missing here?

When it comes to valuable resourses, Evak, is definately the "Go to" guy!!! Other than myself, I havent ran into anyone who shares the same enthusiasm of AMT as he does.

I would merge the smaller profile in your post when the new week begins, when va's overlapp, I always tend to merge. the bigger profile will become more complete, and the start of the week will be the new smaller profile. You might want to pull up a weekly profile, merege any overlapping you see, and then side by side, see where this merge on the daily is within the weekly profile. You may want to do the monthly profile, because this weeks data is within that 6 days or so merge. See where the daily merged balance area is within the context of the larger monthly profile chart.

From the center of the mode/balance area, unless it stays flat there are only 2 places to go vah/or val.

I think I don't offend anyone if I say he seems to me the best here.....
As I said in a previous post, his analisys are fascinating and I see he picks almost always the best moves.... That means a very deep knoweledge of AMT.
He's an Expert, according with Dalton's classification......

But you are not so bad too........

Anyway these are all newbie's considerations.... What really matters is that all of you make money enough to suit your needs....

I meant away from this week completed range distribution (Above/Below VAH/VAL) to fill some OTF's incomplete one...
Tomorrow I'll try to merge previous weeks to see if there's some "vacuum" upside or downside (I feel upside...) if I end to fight with the indi......

For today, think >12 hours studying is enough.....

Indeed, Robin is very good, do read about her thoughts on using Market Profile her way in "Breakthroughs in Technical Analysis", especially if you think you are a value trader. .
