when i look at your chart i see that the candle with the big wicks in the LO is red, on mine it´s blue... what kind of sorcery is this^^

I would also like to share with you guys a useful indicator that i picked up from the sonicr thread.
It automatically show you pivot points each day. This can be used to set TP.
I asked sonic deejay for permission to use the indicator on my thread and he gave me the go ahead.

This chart panel is very nice. It doesnt show only pivots, but also range high/low, round number levels and session separators (LO, NY).
You have also price, spread and candle time.

And its totally customizable.

Have it myself, but only for pivots.

You have asked about the PUllback CANDLE. This is a very well documented subject throughout the thread and is clearly stated in the PDF at the beginning of the thread. You have also said that it is unreasonable to read all the posts from the beginning till now. I have a question for you. Why? Why is this unreasonable? You want to learn a method don't you? I have read many complete threads myself and each time is a growing experience where I learn tons. Often the thread is bigger than this one is now. If you are not fluent with english then you have my complete sympathy and I can somewhat understand the idea of it being unreasonable, but to be honest; you saying that it is unreasonable says alot. It implies that you are not willing to work for this method. Your screen time is very important to have as well as chart time, but also time getting used to the method within' the thread by talking, and reading about rules and updates and why they happened. Many concepts to go over. This is not to say that I (we) will not help you. I would be happy to help you in your understanding of the pullback bars (they are tricky particularly to newbies). However, you have selected to "not allow anyone to contact you" in your options. That means I cannot private message you or even correspond through email (already tried with the intion of answering your question). This also means that I have to pollute the thread with more stuff that has already been gone over many times, I will not do that. Instead, make the selection to allow people to contact you in your user options by clicking your username (upper left of page) and edit your user options (email is optional, but private message does not allow me to send you charts. Make a new email account if you don't trust FF people for just this purpose) and I will answer all your questions about the pullback bar and anything else regaurding this thread. Here is my chart that may answer your query.

The upper half of the chart is using Synergy APB (which I have changed the color of the bars) as compared to that of a Heiken Ashi at the lower half.

You will notice one visual difference is color at the 'doji' and also slight different in 'body' length.

You got it. My problem may come from my language skill as I was confused about the language (which open and low) in the document on the 1st page. I kept reading it over and over again but I am still confused. When you say it's well documented, that reminded me that I would also appreciate if anyone can just navigate me to any thread that may have this - you don't need to really explain it again.

In my personal experience when i found forex factory i went to the trading systems area and didnt know which 1 to choose.
So i clicked on most viewed. the first thread i seen was THV system which i didnt like too many rules etc. then i seen the sonicR system.
I started reading that thread at the same time i found the trading made simple so i started studying both and after a few pages i was attracted to trading made simple more.
From then i dedicated myself in studying the thread . I use to write down the rules , write down tips etc. I went from page to page post to post reading every post studying every chart that was posted. I literally spent 6 to 8 hours a day studying and studying because i was hungry for success.

As you go through the thread then you start noticing the valuable contributors so then i started reading only their posts. I completed the entire TMS thread and after that started trading.
I use to go back and read all big Es, Phx62, Dcginc, britpips posts whenever i got confused

This is how i mastered the system and became a really good trader. So thats how i also started my own thread.
Nothing is impossible you just have to put in that extra.
Today trading has become so simple for me, all that hard work paid off.

Now all i have to do is repeat the same thing over and over everyday. Wash , rinse, dry , repeat. the circle will continue.

The same thing applies with becoming a doctor, you cant just open your practice and start treating people. you have to go through some intense studying for years to qualify.
On these threads theres no one to monitor us thats why we feel we can do as we please. But if you obtain that discipline then you can study and graduate yourself. There wont be any shortcuts.
Its a process that you have to go through.
If you want to make money off forex you have to treat it serious just as you would treat any other profession

Just to explain a little more on ranging market re post# 3538 in reply to hale mary’s question referring to 25 Oct 2011 (week 43 /2011).

Attached is my chart showing a zoom out view of EURUSD for week 35 to 45 2011.

If we look at the recent few weeks starting week 03 to this week, we are again in a consolidation week, but very wide range. After a 2 weeks rally started on 16 Jan, this week is consolidation.

Another breakout big move is imminent. Question is when it will happen.

LOL i love trading and i love this forum. I have some sort of addiction towards forex. Everything i do i think about forex.

I woke up extra early today just to see what the market has been doing while i was asleep LOL.

Today there might be a 170 pip movement once that triangle breaks at either end. The movement may happen all in 1 day or will run throughout the weekend or such a thing wont even happen. Be ready for any situation .

If that move has to occur then remember that we dont need all of it we will just need some of it. 50 to 100 will be more than enough
