I can do HFT (300 trades / day) with dukascopy ? if i use VPS or dedicated server in .ch i can to have fast execution ? under 10ms ?

300 trades a day sound like a scalp EA

10 ms is fast..

There's probably nobody in this forum who does real HFT (they'll call it "scalping" without realizing there's a difference between that and HFT) so you probably won't get that kind of info here.

Just talk to Dukascopy and make sure you ask for someone who understands what you're talking about (probably the IT department).

As far as I know, what's important is not just to have a VPS in the same country/with the same domain but also that the servers be located as close as possible to the bröker's servers (which you need to ask them for where they are situated).

Also, you'll probably need to skip JForex and use FIX API. They require a minimum deposit of $100,000 for this.

If I were in your situation though, I'd skip retail brökers like this and instead go for a tier 2 institutional bröker who have experience with HFT setups.

My sell order just got stopped out by 1 pip then moved the direction I wanted it to go

Not just one but a few now

Not whining, gotta take the losses in this job but I didn't have this many stop outs with my old broker.

I want to ask how the small account traders are doing with dukas. They letting you win?

Or you can download a demo of their JForex platform and export any data you want from it. Just go to Tools > Historical Tester.

Their data is high quality and totally free, which is nice of them considering that some people would charge money to provide complete tick data like this.

JForex is way better than MT4, especially in terms of order entry, chart types and data quality.

I need the data only for MT4 coz I want to test my EAs, but thanks for your suggestion

This last long trade the PA was weird, it went down when the five and 15 were screaming long, hit my stop by a pip then reversed. My third trade like this today

Sure I can't proof something suspicious was going on, I know they bundle all the small lots from their end until they send it out to the real market.

Again I ask if anyone with small accounts having problems such as frequent stop outs?

You can compare the chart with another ones. Sorry, but I can't help more, as I don't scalp, my stops are 20-30 pips.

Maybe, if you are an unexperienced trader, try to change your strategy..

Hi guys, I noticed that it's possible to convert MT4 EA's to Jforex within the application,
however I have not been successful yet,
did anyone do this and made it work? maybe I did something wrong who knows?
but i allways get some kind of error message,
are there any tutorials on this somewhere on the net?

from where you have this info

as far as i know you have to convert the mt4 stuff locally with a converter tool than you get a java file which you can import to your stragegies or indicators

There is a option, tried it also few times with some indicators,
but it does not work. I think it could work on simply things or so.
