im short on cable at 94 level,closed half at 74,for 20 pips,will let remainder run or stop me out at b/e.trade taken from weekly level ,entry 1 min chart,see how many bounces on weekly and closes at this level,great for scalps from these longer charts levels.

still holding my cable short,wish i had held my e/u short !!

mixed day on my micro scalping account,marginally infront,payed back 100 to my card and balance just under 550 pounds,so this account is free,and dosnt owe me anything.my entries today spot on the money within a few pips from there highs,that not being my goal,but very low risk entries as very tight stops, if they break ,there breaking large time frames.couldnt quite get in tune with the ftse today,thats normally my bread and butter

closed cable 52 level,40 pips,didnt get the momentum on the short side like its related pairs

cable not so clean today,looking at e/u,much more defined in its movment,price is now sandwiched between the 80,90 level and 50 level,will be interesting to see this play out

i see u trade on IG ,they have the jse alsi top 40 index , very volatile mkt with big moves , very much follows the london ftse 100 in morning then the dow in the aft. was wondering where i could view your stratergy for scalping,sorry for the confusion

ok i understand,i will take a look at that market .i think your refering to my ftse100 scalping,this method derives from a method ive been working on for a couple of years now,the scalps are a small part of that,extremly high hit rate,not sure i want to give the core ingredient away as its still a works in progress,sorry to be vague

wow that was close just run up 40 pips,phew !

that was very close,it does make good argument to place a fixed stop,

i like this level to short e/u,but i think ill observe for now,

Do you trade for living. I am trying to learn how to trade with a fulltime job and 2 young kids. It is not easy.

hi jonas,my stop on this ftse trade is 58 08 ,which is 46 pips,its not a quick scalp,my initial target is 5680,which is not to far of 2-1 risk,reward,although i would hold for more if sentiment is in my favour,ive placed my stop there because its above the previous sell zone and also the round no of 58.ill post a chart later,

my ftse method is not based on fundies,but in this present climate with the euro problems its very fickle,it can whip up a couple of hundred pips on a piece of good news,and equally drop a couple of hundred pips everytime a finance minister in europe opens his mouth.somthing to be aware of jonas,

hi jonas,heres my chart of ft100,daily,this is the level i placed my stop from,it looks like i may be stopped out on this trade,you can see its at the bottom of the previous sell zone,if i am stopped out the diaganal just above will be my position to look for my short with a longer term view,although 5680 being the initial target ,but altimatly a drop to 5100 is my longer term forcast,i said some weeks ago about shorting to this level and it was still to early in its cycle,again were not there yet but the diaginal will be a good area to atleast get an entry down to the 5680 zone,just my thoughts and opinion,dont put your kids college fees on it,todays thrust up was a combination of better than expected results from china,bonds from germany done really well ect,

only two other trades today,my cable short which i gave away 8 pips or so,and an e/u scalp from 3200 area which gave me 23 pips,didnt micro scalp today as preparing to travel on friday overseas

got stopped out on my ftse trade on market open spiked out by a few pips,re entry short at 5789,longer veiw,50 stop,first target 5680
